This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Chicago, IL office. The role requires daily in-office attendance with no remote work options.
Position Summary
The Senior Enterprise Truckload Operations Specialist is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key national customers for Priority1. This role focuses on customer retention, revenue growth, service optimization, and acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of national and strategic customer accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring strong client relationships
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling 3PL services, including warehousing, transportation, and value-added services
- Collaborate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to deliver customized logistics solutions
- Monitor account performance, KPIs, and service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Resolve customer issues and escalate internally as needed to ensure timely resolution
- Support contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions
- Maintain accurate account records, forecasts, and activity updates in CRM systems
- Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a National Account Manager, Account Manager, or similar role within a 3PL or logistics environment
- Proven experience managing large or multi-location customer accounts
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing and transportation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable solutions
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel as needed to support customer relationships
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Experience working with national retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing customers
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)

$50K + Commission guaranteed
