Role Responsibilities
- Cross-Functional System Execution: Work closely with finance, IT, and cross-functional teams to implement roadmap initiatives and evaluate downstream impacts.
- Troubleshooting & Resolution: Investigate and resolve data load, mapping, validation, and calculation issues. Track and resolve recurring or critical issues through Oracle Service Requests (SRs).
- Configuration & Enhancements: Maintain and update metadata, including hierarchies, properties, accounts, and node types. Configure web forms, dashboards, workflow rules, and match rules as business needs evolve.
- Data Integration Management: Administer Data Exchange pipelines, import/export definitions, and update EDM subscriptions to keep metadata aligned. Manage calculation rules, consolidations, and cash flow mappings.
- Maintenance & Patching: Review release notes and perform patch regression testing on monthly EPM patches, promoting updates safely across DEV, TEST, and PROD pods.
- System Support & Operations: Manage and monitor user access control, including assigning predefined and application roles. Provide functional support during close cycles, assisting users with application navigation, workflows, and Smart View queries.
- Solution Architecture & Development: Partner with leadership to design, build, and optimize scalable EPM data models and solutions. Translate business requirements into technical architecture and execute complex development work across FCCS, ARCS, and EDMCS.
Role Requirements (Must-Have Skills)
- Active Oracle Cloud EPM Certification(s) (e.g., Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS), or EPM Data Integration).
- 6+ years of experience managing and supporting Oracle EPM applications, specifically FCCS, ARCS, and EDMCS.
- Proven ability to manage daily operations, including integrations, consolidations, and reconciliations.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills, specifically regarding Smart View installations, connection settings, and resolving setup conflicts.
- Experience managing user security, access roles, and maintaining compliance governance.
- Ability to perform monthly/quarterly close operations and execute environment health checks.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional IT and business teams to evaluate inbound and outbound data flows and build architectural solutions.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Familiarity or experience with Oracle Tax Reporting (TRCS), as future roadmap capabilities may expand into this area.
- Experience with Risk Control Matrix (RCM) functionality to monitor Segregation of Duties (SOD) controls between ERP and EPM systems.
- Prior experience with other Finance Planning tools (e.g., PBCS, Adaptive Planning, Planful, Pigment, SAP, IBM, OneStream, etc is a plus).
- Conceptual understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Agentic AI frameworks
