The Senior Events and Promotions Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and evaluation of internal and external events while overseeing company-wide promotional programs and branded merchandise initiatives. This role requires strong project management, event planning, vendor management, and marketing expertise to support brand growth, employee engagement, and customer-facing initiatives across the organization.

Detailed Description:

  • Lead the full lifecycle planning and execution of trade shows, corporate events, customer events, and local industry events.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive event plans, including budgets, timelines, logistics, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate multiple events and projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and budget requirements are met.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen and elevate the company brand while maximizing event effectiveness and staying within budget.
  • Manage and communicate the company-wide events calendar.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote events and ensure consistent messaging throughout the organization.
  • Coordinate public speaking engagements, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with internal and external speakers.
  • Develop and implement event ROI measurement frameworks and provide recommendations to improve future event strategy and spending.
  • Manage the company internal promotional store and related fulfillment activities.
  • Oversee ordering, inventory management, and distribution of promotional products across all company locations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with promotional vendors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate promotional item logistics and ensure inventory availability for events and employees.
  • Support and promote branded merchandise initiatives among internal stakeholders and departments.
  • Research and monitor trends within the upstream oil and gas industry.
  • Maintain and elevate the company brand image and industry presence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong event planning and project management experience.
  • Experience developing budgets, managing vendors, and coordinating event logistics.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking coordination skills.
  • Ability to analyze event performance and develop ROI-based improvement strategies.
  • Creative thinker with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Service-oriented mindset with strong customer focus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5-8+ years of event management experience.
  • Experience managing trade shows, conferences, corporate events, and promotional programs preferred.
  • Intermediate understanding of upstream oil and gas and/or drilling operations preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

This position requires travel and supports company branding, customer engagement, and promotional initiatives across the organization.
