Who We Are

The Solana Foundation is a non-profit based in Zug, Switzerland, dedicated to the adoption, decentralization, and security of the Solana network. Solana is a high performance blockchain that can deliver a fast and friendly user experience, without sacrificing security. The Solana Foundation is working to realize a world where individuals own their data, use permissionless networks, and transfer information and value freely around the world. We are looking for talented people who are willing to jump right in and use their expertise to help the ecosystem build.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an exceptional Senior Executive Assistant to support two of our Technology organization's leaders: our VP of Engineering and our Chief Information Security Officer. This is a high-trust, high-visibility role at the center of two fast-moving, high-stakes functions.

You'll be the connective tissue that keeps both leaders' worlds running smoothly — managing calendars, coordinating communication across a wide range of people and tools, and making sure nothing important slips through the cracks. Confidentiality is non-negotiable in this role: you'll regularly be trusted with sensitive engineering and security information and expected to handle it with total discretion.

The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, unflappable when priorities shift, and confident coordinating across many channels and stakeholders at once. You communicate in a clear, direct, no-fluff way, and you take ownership — when something needs to get done or needs to be surfaced for a decision, people can count on you to make that happen.

What You'll Do

Executive Support

  • Manage fast-changing calendars for two senior leaders, balancing competing priorities and time zones.

  • Triage and prioritize inbound communication across email, Slack, and other channels, flagging what's urgent and drafting responses when appropriate.

  • Coordinate meetings across engineering, security, and cross-functional teams — prepping agendas, tracking action items, and following up to keep workstreams on track.

  • Handle confidential and security-sensitive documents and information with strict discretion.

Communication Coordination

  • Serve as a central point of coordination across the many people, teams, and tools these orgs touch — keeping communication organized and nothing lost between channels.

  • Track outstanding items across both leaders' priorities and proactively follow up rather than waiting to be asked.

  • Communicate in a straightforward, concise way — surfacing issues early rather than letting them sit.

Meetings, Travel & Event Logistics

  • Plan and manage domestic and international travel itineraries, troubleshooting disruptions quickly and calmly.

  • Coordinate meeting logistics, offsites, and small-scale events (team dinners, venue booking, etc.).

  • Own the details so both leaders can walk into any meeting or trip fully prepared.

Projects & Operations

  • Support preparation for leadership meetings, planning docs, and org updates.

  • Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of both leaders.

  • Handle light document prep, tracking, and editing with an eye for confidentiality and accuracy.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years supporting senior executives in a dedicated EA capacity.

  • Demonstrated discretion and trustworthiness — you handle sensitive and confidential information as second nature.

  • Exceptionally organized and reliable — a strong bias toward "it's handled" or "here's where it stands."

  • Proven ability to coordinate communication across multiple channels, tools, and groups of people simultaneously.

  • Clear, direct communication style — you don't bury the lede.

  • Comfortable supporting more than one senior stakeholder at once, with the judgment to balance competing priorities.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Some technical fluency or comfort with engineering/security concepts and terminology — not required, but genuinely useful given the subject matter you'll be coordinating around.

  • Experience planning small-scale events (dinners, offsites, team gatherings).

  • Familiarity with modern productivity and collaboration tools (Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, Airtable, Zoom, etc.).

Who You Are
  • You're organized to the core, and reliability is your reputation — people trust that what's needed will either get done or get flagged.

  • You're discreet by default. Confidentiality isn't something you have to think about; it's how you operate.

  • You're a clear communicator — direct, concise, and easy to understand, whether in a Slack message or a meeting recap.

  • You thrive on coordination — juggling multiple people, channels, and moving pieces without losing track of any of them.

  • You're calm under shifting priorities and comfortable supporting more than one leader without dropping the ball on either.
