About the role

Roku is looking for an exceptional Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate FP&A team. Reporting to the Director of FP&A - Corporate Finance, this role will play a critical part in providing senior management with an assessment of historical and forward-looking financial performance, including analysis of business trends, risks and opportunities, and communication of business insights. You will also play a key role in the earnings process, providing support to the CFO, VP of Investor Relations, and the Finance leadership team.

Critical to success is the ability to deliver with 100% accuracy under compressed timelines, balance competing priorities across earnings cycles and close periods, and proactively identify improvements that make financial reporting better, faster, and easier. The ideal candidate brings investment banking rigor, a builder's mentality, and the intellectual curiosity to grow with the role. This is a hybrid role with the requirement of 4 days a week in the office.

What you'll be doing
  • Support Earnings and Investor Relations work streams and other Corporate FP&A recurring processes (e.g., Board of Directors meetings, Audit Committee deliverables)
  • Drive weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and analysis for senior management, the Board of Directors, and the investment community
  • Develop executive-level dashboards that provide leadership with digestible and actionable insights on key operational and financial metrics
  • Provide analytical support and monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of changes; conduct deep dives when observing abnormal trends
  • Support long-range financial modeling and strategic analysis deliverables that inform executive decision-making
  • Create in-depth business case analysis and intuitive reporting to drive intelligent decision-making
  • Identify and implement improvements to make financial and operational reporting better, faster, and easier
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as needed

We're excited if you have
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (finance, economics, mathematics, accounting)
  • 2+ years of investment banking experience at a bulge bracket or elite boutique — must be modeling-seat experience (DCFs, LBOs, or merger models built from scratch)
  • 3+ years of total professional experience, including 2+ years of investment banking
  • Advanced Excel proficiency — dynamic arrays, complex INDEX/MATCH architectures, scenario toggles, audit-ready model builds.
  • Business acumen: understands how revenue assumptions cascade into margin, operating leverage, and valuation
  • Comfort with DCF, comparable company analysis, and sensitivity/scenario modeling
  • Superior attention to detail — this role feeds SEC filings and public earnings guidance where the standard is 100% accuracy
  • Ability to synthesize complex financial information and communicate it clearly to senior executives in written and verbal formats
  • Self-starter with ownership mentality — volunteers for scope, operates with urgency, steady under compressed timelines

Strongly Preferred

  • Business partner experience (budget management, monthly/quarterly P&L ownership)
  • Experience building or contributing to long-range financial projections (5–10 year models)
  • Familiarity with enterprise planning platforms (Workday Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar)
  • FactSet experience (used for Consensus Summary and benchmarking)
  • Willingness to learn and adopt AI tools for productivity enhancement

Who you are

  • You operate with investment banking intensity with collaborative, ego-free, and willing to lead or support as the situation demands attitude
  • You thrive in high-performance cultures, handle stress well, and find meaning in work that directly impacts public markets
  • You have the highest standards of accuracy and precision — cross-footing, data validation, and audit trails are second nature, not afterthoughts
  • You're curious, constantly learning, and unafraid of ambiguity. Rapid change excites you, and you craft a plan of action even when none is given
  • You build trust through consistency over time. You're not a flash-in-the-pan performer — you earn expanded responsibility through reliability
  • You're comfortable navigating multiple senior stakeholders (CFO, VP of IR, VP of FP&A) with different communication norms
  • You have people leadership potential — mentoring, training, co-leading meetings — even if you're not managing direct reports on day one

The Roku Culture

We try to surround ourselves with people who are great at their jobs, who are easy to work with, and who keep their egos in check. We appreciate a sense of humor. In short, at Roku you'll be part of a company that's changing how the world watches TV.

We have a unique culture that we are proud of. We think of ourselves primarily as problem-solvers, which itself is a two-part idea. We come up with the solution, but the solution isn't real until it is built and delivered to the customer. That penchant for action gives us a pragmatic approach to innovation, one that has served us well since 2002.
