TechOp Solutions is seeking a remote Senior FOIA Analyst provides advanced Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) processing support to our government client. This role performs cradle-to-grave processing of FOIA requests, including analysis, records coordination, redaction, exemption application, and response preparation, while ensuring compliance with FOIA statute, the Privacy Act, Department of Justice (DOJ)
- Perform end-to-end processing of FOIA requests from intake through final response preparation.
- Analyze requests to determine scope, complexity, and routing requirements.
- Coordinate with program offices to identify and obtain responsive records.
- Identify operational risks,, and compliance issues and coordinate corrective actions with Government stakeholders.
- Mentors Junior Analyst
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of successful FOIA request processing within the last 48 months.
- In-depth understanding of DOJ FOIA reporting standards and compliant submission processes.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Advanced proficiency in interpreting and applying FOIA exemptions consistent with Department of Justice guidance and governing FOIA legislation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interface with leadership.
