We’re looking for a high-impact Sr. FP&A Analyst to partner closely with our Cloud, DevOps, and Engineering teams to help us better understand, manage, and scale our cloud infrastructure spend. This role will sit at the intersection of finance, technology, and operations, and will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud spend across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud, while supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis to drive cost efficiency and informed decision-making across cloud operations.
This position combines hands-on problem solving from first principles with cloud cost analysis, and is best suited for individuals who are motivated by ownership and exposure to business decisions and executive leadership.
What a day in life of looks like:
Cloud Economics & Spend Ownership
Own cloud infrastructure cost visibility across AWS, Azure, and Oracle, including key drivers such as compute, storage, and usage patterns
Lead cloud spend planning (monthly, quarterly, annual) and build driver-based models for forecasting, capacity planning, and cost optimization
Identify and drive cost efficiency initiatives, including rightsizing, reserved instances, and vendor pricing strategies
SaaS / Maintenance Margin & Unit Economics
Analyze cost-to-serve and SaaS / maintenance margin at a granular level
Connect infrastructure usage and product decisions to financial outcomes
Improve visibility into unit economics and scalability across products and services
Business Partnership & Influence
Act as the primary finance partner to Cloud Operations, DevOps, and IT, driving cost accountability and decision-making
Lead budget management, forecasting, and ongoing operating discussions with 5–10 stakeholders
Influence engineering and infrastructure decisions by translating technical drivers into financial impact
Reporting & Decision Support
Deliver clear, actionable reporting on cloud spend, including variance analysis and forward-looking insights
Evaluate cloud investments, vendor strategies, and optimization initiatives through ad hoc analysis
Translate complex data into insights that drive operational and financial decisions
FinOps & Process Improvement
Improve cloud cost tracking, allocation methodologies, and reporting automation
Partner with engineering and IT to enhance tagging, data quality, and cost transparency
Help scale FinOps discipline and cost accountability across the organization
What you bring to the team:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
5-8 years of FP&A, cloud financial management, or adjacent financial analysis experience.
Strong experience in cloud spend management and operating expense planning across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling capability; strong PowerPoint skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior and executive management .
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Preferred
Experience supporting Cloud Operations, Infrastructure, DevOps, or IT organizations.
Background in cloud-native, SaaS, or infrastructure-heavy technology environments.
Experience with cloud cost management tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, CloudHealth, Apptio) and reporting systems (Oracle EPM, NetSuite, Pigment, OneStream, Workday, etc.).
Base Salary : $130,000.00 annually
This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is based on evaluation during interview process, the candidates’ range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
