The Role

As a Senior Frontend Developer on our Product Team, you'll lead our frontend modernization efforts and shipping product features. You'll report to the VP of Engineering and work closely with the Product Team Lead to shape the future of our platform.

Your impact will span from driving our lightweight JavaScript (Alpine) to React migration to architecting new solutions. You'll work on significant product features that directly affect the security of the open-source ecosystem.

RequirementsWhat You'll Do
  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of our React migration strategy

  • Drive technical decisions around state management and Django/React integration

  • Help with developing RESTful APIs and Django views that enable seamless frontend-backend communication

  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver impactful solutions

  • Champion iterative development approaches that balance quick wins with sustainable architecture

About You
  • Strong multi-year experience in frontend development, with a focus on React & Redux

  • Proven track record of React project delivery

  • Experience with PostgreSQL and Django is helpful

  • Ability to lead projects and translate requirements into tangible outcomes

  • Strong communication skills and experience working in remote teams

  • Enthusiasm for cybersecurity and open-source software

Bonus Points
  • Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines

  • Familiarity with Django, Flask or FastAPI

  • Track record of frontend framework migrations

  • Contributions to open-source projects
