Accelint brings together the talents of Hypergiant, Forward Slope, Systems Innovation Engineering, SoarTech, and Highbury Defense Group under one mission, with each entity contributing deep expertise in its domain. This role is part of our Hypergiant Industries division, which applies proven data, AI, and decision-support technologies to commercial and civilian environments. Hypergiant Industries builds decision support systems, operational dashboards, and coordination tools that help organizations make sense of complexity, coordinate action, and make confident decisions in real-world operations. 


We are looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join a balanced agile delivery team building core web commerce experiences for large-scale consumer platforms. You will help develop and maintain sign-up, purchase, and subscription management flows that support high traffic, high availability, and strong accessibility standards. You will serve as a senior technical contributor and trusted partner to product and design, solving sophisticated technical challenges and identifying opportunities to improve systems, products, and services.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with product and project management to translate requirements into technical designs, specifications, and timelines
  • Partner with other engineering teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Build and maintain highly scalable, performant React-based web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Lead by example in writing clean, well-documented, and testable code using modern best practices
  • Enforce and improve code quality through test-driven development and thoughtful code reviews
  • Assess requirements critically, ask thoughtful questions, and push back when necessary to ensure technical feasibility and long-term maintainability
  • Proactively identify technical risks, architectural concerns, and performance issues
  • Help prioritize work, balance feature delivery with technical debt, and recommend improvements to systems and tooling
  • Efficiently support software throughout its lifecycle, including new implementations, enhancements, and technical maintenance
  • Apply strong judgment in selecting methods and techniques to design and implement solutions to complex problems, including architectural changes
  • Mentor and support other developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance
  • Communicate progress, risks, and estimates clearly to technical leads and product owners


Required Experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience building modern web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Strong experience with React and component-driven frontend development
  • Proven ability to build scalable, performant user interfaces
  • Experience integrating with APIs and collaborating with service teams
  • Writes clear, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Solid understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, browser behavior)
  • Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and build systems
  • Ability to independently drive tasks from design through delivery
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills


Preferred Experience

  • Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, or informal team guidance (lead experience preferred but not required)
  • Shipped production React and Node.js applications deployed to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
  • Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Experience with test-driven development
  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques
  • Experience working on consumer-facing digital products or subscription-based platforms
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, product-focused teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional experience


Clearance Requirements 

Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information.  Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).  In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment.
