Senior Full-Stack AI Product Engineer

Full time - Permanent Position

Job Role:

We’re looking for a highly engaged, self-directed developer who can turn product ideas, PRDs, and UX mockups into exceptional working software.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, AI-native development environment. You’ll build full-stack web products with substantial LLM functionality—from compelling product demos to polished, production-ready experiences.

Our workflow is PRD-driven and highly iterative. We work primarily in Cursor and Codex, using modern AI-assisted development practices to move quickly without sacrificing product quality. Experience with OpenClaw, agentic orchestrators, or multi-agent systems is a major advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Turn PRDs, UX mockups, and loosely defined ideas into cohesive working products.
  • Build responsive, polished full-stack web applications.
  • Design and implement meaningful LLM-powered features—not superficial AI add-ons.
  • Develop agentic workflows, tool integrations, structured outputs, and orchestration logic.
  • Create high-impact prototypes and product demos at “vibe-coding speed.”
  • Evolve successful prototypes into secure, maintainable production systems.
  • Make thoughtful product, UX, and technical decisions without requiring constant direction.
  • Collaborate closely with founders, designers, and product stakeholders.
  • Identify missing requirements, edge cases, and opportunities before they become blockers.
  • Use AI development tools effectively while maintaining strong engineering judgment.
  • Own features from initial concept through implementation, deployment, and iteration.

Qualifications:

  • Strong full-stack web development experience.
  • Proven ability to independently ship complete products or substantial features.
  • Experience building production applications with LLMs and related APIs.
  • Strong product instincts and attention to UX details.
  • Ability to translate mockups into responsive, polished interfaces.
  • Comfort working from PRDs while resolving ambiguity proactively.
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or equivalent.
  • Strong backend and API development skills.
  • Familiarity with databases, authentication, cloud deployment, testing, and observability.
  • Ability to balance development speed with reliability and maintainability.
  • Clear communication, sound judgment, and a high level of personal ownership.

Nice to have Qualifications:

  • OpenClaw experience.
  • Agentic orchestrator or multi-agent system experience.
  • Experience with tool calling, MCP, RAG, memory systems, evals, and structured generation.
  • Experience building human-in-the-loop AI workflows.
  • Deep familiarity with Cursor, Codex, or similar AI-native development environments.
  • Experience converting rapid prototypes into scalable production systems.
  • A portfolio of polished AI products, experiments, or interactive demos.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary.
  • A comprehensive benefits package (Health, Dental, Life Insurance and RRSP).
  • Remote work from home (available options).
  • The opportunity for career growth and development.
  • A collaborative and inclusive work environment.

CGS evaluates compensation individually for each selected applicant. Final salary placement within our established parameters is based on multiple criteria, including regional market rates, internal equity considerations, cost-of-living geography, and candidate-specific attributes like professional experience, education, and technical skill sets.

Furthermore, team members may have access to performance-based incentive structures and performance metrics designed to offer additional earning potential based on business growth.
