Roadie is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build and evolve the systems that power our logistics platform. You’ll work on high-impact initiatives across areas such as sender APIs, RoadieXD™, payments, identity, compliance, and fraud prevention. Partnering across Engineering, Product, and Operations, you’ll solve complex challenges, influence technical direction, and build scalable systems that support millions of deliveries. What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and test scalable APIs, services, and full stack applications
- Develop internal and customer-facing tools, including React-based dashboards and workflows
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations to solve complex business and technical challenges
- Contribute to platform modernization efforts, including the migration of legacy functionality into scalable services
- Influence architecture and technical decisions that improve scalability, reliability, security, and performance
- Write clean, maintainable code supported by automated testing, thoughtful code reviews, and modern engineering practices
- Identify opportunities to improve existing systems, developer experience, and long-term maintainability

What You Bring
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience designing and building scalable applications, distributed systems, and APIs
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language and experience with a modern frontend framework such as React
- Experience building reliable, secure, and well-tested software
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges
- The ability to make thoughtful technical decisions while balancing immediate needs with long-term maintainability
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including experience working across technical and nontechnical teams
- Curiosity, ownership, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly

- Experience modernizing legacy systems or migrating functionality to service-based architectures
