About Sweatpals

Sweatpals is the community-first fitness platform turning workouts into social experiences. Backed by a16z speedrun, Patron, Kevin Hart, Pear VC, and founders of Instacart and Dreamworks Animations, we connect hundreds of thousands of “Pals,” hosts, and gyms through events, memberships, and social features. We’re still scrappy at heart, but scaling fast.

We believe working out should be joyful, social, and inclusive - not just a solo grind. From run clubs and beach pilates to pickleball leagues and cold plunge socials, Sweatpals turns everyday workouts into meaningful social experiences.

Sweatpals also gives local leaders the tools to grow their fitness communities from side hustles to full-time, even million-dollar businesses. Hosts use our platform to run their business - from ticketing and memberships to marketing tools.

As we scale, growth marketing will play a critical role in fueling top-of-funnel demand. You’ll help us reach more Pals and Hosts, expand city by city, and turn Sweatpals into a habit for millions.

The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to own acquisition and top-of-funnel demand — across paid performance, social strategy, search, and conversion optimization. This role is built for a performance-first marketer who can drive measurable growth and lead our acquisition engine with clarity, speed, and creativity.

You’ll run experiments, scale high-performing channels, guide the social strategy (with execution support from our coordinators and designer), and bring new Pals and Hosts into our ecosystem.

What You’ll Own
  • Own paid performance marketing across Meta, TikTok, and Google - optimizing CAC and ROAS

  • Lead the social media user acquisition strategy, weekly content calendar review, and light post QA (execution handled by two coordinators and a designer)

  • Develop creative briefs and partner with coordinators + designer to produce high-performing ad creatives in-house

  • Drive SEO and ASO to increase organic discovery and app growth, managing intern support for blog content

  • Improve acquisition funnels end-to-end, from landing pages to app store conversion and retargeting

  • Optimize high volumes of event catalogue pages maximize conversion & design a system to operationalize the workflow at scale

  • Launch city-level and national growth campaigns that drive RSVPs, host leads, and GMV

  • Build repeatable, scalable playbooks across paid, social, and organic channels as Sweatpals expands into new markets

  • Build and optimize host acquisition funnels, segmentation, and targeting

  • Analyze performance data, share insights, and make fast, data-backed decisions

  • Own attribution, reporting, cohort analysis, and experimentation across top-of-funnel channels

  • Create and manage landing pages + lineup pages with Webflow freelancers and internal teams

  • Build and scale referral programs for both user and host acquisition

  • Ensure consistency across paid, organic, landing pages, and city-focused campaigns

  • Test, learn, and scale what works - with a mindset of continuous improvement

  • Manage and mentor junior team members

Who You Are
  • 6+ years in growth, performance, or acquisition marketing — preferably in consumer or marketplace environments

  • Deep experience running and optimizing paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Google

  • Strong analytical instincts — you’re fluent in CAC, ROAS, CTR, conversion, and funnel diagnostics

  • Experienced with SEO, ASO, and acquisition-focused experimentation

  • Comfortable leading social direction — with taste, consistency, and clarity

  • A self-starter who brings ideas, pushes work forward, and doesn’t wait to be told what to build

  • Confident operating with autonomy and owning results end-to-end

  • Can partner cross-functionally and influence without authority

  • Comfortable in an early-stage environment — scrappy, resourceful, and fast-moving

  • Motivated by measurable outcomes and excited to build the growth engine, not just run it

Success Looks Like
  • More Pals and Hosts discover, join, and participate on Sweatpals

  • Acquisition metrics improve across paid, organic, and social channels

  • Conversion rates increase across key touchpoints, from impressions to RSVPs

  • Growth programs and campaigns consistently drive measurable impact

  • Reporting, experimentation, and insights create clarity and focus across the org

  • Growth efforts help accelerate city expansion and marketplace momentum

Compensation
  • $130K – $175K total compensation, plus meaningful equity

  • Full-time role

Why Join Sweatpals

At Sweatpals, you’ll build more than campaigns — you’ll help shape the future of how people find belonging through movement. If you’re motivated by ownership, creativity, and measurable impact, this is a place where your work will truly matter. We move fast, think boldly, and operate with high trust and high expectations.

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Want real ownership of acquisition — not a narrow channel or rigid playbook

  • Love testing, learning, and scaling what works

  • Take pride in clear thinking, fast execution, and measurable results

  • Are energized by smart, ambitious teammates who move quickly and care deeply about the mission
