The Senior Human Resources Generalist will support the team Monday - Friday 4PM -12:30AM. The Human Resources Generalist serves as an administrator for several critical human resources functions and workforce management, including employee/labor relations, data collection, health and safety, training, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, and employee records management. The Sr. Site HR Generalist facilitates and communicates organizational policies and programs and ensures labor law and regulatory compliance. This role supports the Site HR Manager in providing strategic internal support and partnership to operational team members in an effort to deliver required human resources assistance. The Sr. Site HR Generalist is instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture and enhancing employee engagement. The role assists with key data collection with respect to workforce management tools such as the HRIS in an effort to aid in HR analysis and planning initiatives. Coordinates with HR support staff to process and maintain employment, attendance, and other records. This role provides general support in the day-to-day human resources efforts for the US production site in which the position is located and serves as liaison with Corporate HR staff.  


Requirements
  • Serves as a lead HR partner for Operations teams, providing guidance on employee relations and HR best practices.
  • Supports deploying HR policies, programs, and initiatives, including but not limited to employment, labor relations, training, and workplace practices to improve the operations and organizational capability at the sites.
  • Own the site data reporting and analyses process; provide suggested actions to the site HR Manager; monitor the performance of HR key indicators, HR programs and initiatives allowing a data-based decision-making process.
  • Ensure integrity in all HR systems with timely and accurate data entry and regular audits.
  • Assist managers, supervisors and employees with understanding and applying HR tools to improve organization performance and drive culture including performance management, employee development, succession planning and retention.
  • Support the investigations on employee relations and ethics matters; provide clear summary reports and recommended actions to site HR Manager and the Global HR Director; support activities and processes to promote positive employee relations.
  • Interprets, applies, and explains employment laws, company policies, rules and procedures to management and non-management staff and monitors related activity to ensure consistency and appropriateness
  • Accountable for ensuring compliancy with all Company policies and procedures
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality concerning all company matters including, but not limited to, personnel actions, legal actions, terminations, and organizational plans
  • Serves as a point of contact with regard to site employee relations issues, and assists employees and management by providing guidance and coaching, as well as conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations, reports the findings, recommends and assists with implementation of resolution
  • Maintains records for all site employee information such as personnel actions, personnel data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance review and termination date and reason
  • Collaborate as needed with the Corporate HR team to manage and report on all Worker’s Compensation, FMLA and Leave reports and filings to ensure compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Human Resources field
  • At least 3 years in the Human Resources Generalist position
  •   Experience and exposure to a contact center environment preferred
  • Data Analytics and HRIS systems and data management experience
  • Must possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills to maintain and address multiple assigned projects and expectations.
  • Working knowledge of the major functional areas of HR including recruiting/staffing, policy administration, employee relations, benefits/payroll administration, and state and federal employment laws including but not limited to FMLA, COBRA, ADA, USERRA
  • Excellent communication (spoken, written, and presentation) skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
  • SHRM-CP preferred
