Join our Micro Segmentation Professional Services team

With our cutting-edge technology, we are changing the way organizations protect their most critical assets in their data center and cloud environments. Our team is responsible for implementing network segmentation projects for our strategic customers, using our Guardicore Micro Segmentation product. We collaborate with customers and prospects to align our solutions to business needs.

Partner with our enterprise customers

You will design, plan and drive the implementation of segmentation projects for large enterprises. You will work closely with customers to manage projects, provide creative solutions, and develop successful implementations.

As a Senior II Security Architect, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the planning, installation and integration of the Guardicore product in diverse infrastructure environments
  • Working with customers throughout a delivery project life cycle from project management and architecture design to installation, configuration and documentation
  • Deploying and implementing network segmentation policies using our state of the art segmentation platform
  • Delivering advanced professional services (such as customizations / training / expansions / configurations / optimizations)
  • Working closely with Support and Engineering teams to quickly resolve any client issues and drive customer post-sales satisfaction

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
  • Have experience deploying, configuring and troubleshooting software or networking equipment
  • Have in-depth knowledge in Networking, Operating Systems and Data Center Infrastructure
  • Demonstrate the ability to be proactive with a keen desire to learn
  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills and are not afraid to challenge expectations and perceptions
  • Demonstrate skills in network or endpoint security platforms, scripting (Bash, Python)
  • Have a history working with large enterprises and can talk about leading major successful projects

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $139,300 - $250,700/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
