Overview

We are seeking a Senior Implementation Manager to lead the onboarding and implementation of our most strategic, high-value customers. This role is responsible for delivering a seamless, high-quality implementation experience for a focused book of 5–7 enterprise clients, ensuring strong foundations for long-term partnership and success.

This individual is a highly skilled project manager, a clear and confident communicator, and thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. They bring strong attention to detail, executive presence, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end implementations for a portfolio of 5–7 enterprise and strategic customers, from kickoff through go-live and handoff

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders, including senior and executive-level partners

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables across complex, multi-workstream implementations

  • Drive cross-functional alignment across internal teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Operations, etc.) to ensure successful execution

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, managing escalations with urgency and clarity

  • Lead effective, structured communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including regular status updates and executive readouts

  • Ensure a high-quality customer experience, balancing speed with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Continuously improve implementation processes by identifying patterns, gaps, and opportunities for scalability

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through best practices and complex decision-making

Qualifications
  • 6–8+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, project management, or customer-facing delivery roles, preferably in SaaS or enterprise environments

  • Proven experience managing large, complex, and high-value implementations with multiple stakeholders

  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight timelines

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with executive audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments

  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and influencing without direct authority

  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, Agile/Waterfall hybrid approaches)

Nice to Have
  • Experience working with enterprise clients or strategic accounts

  • Background in HR tech, fintech, or benefits platforms

  • Experience building or refining implementation processes at scale

Compensation

Base salary of $110,000 to $130,000 + equity.

Range(s) is subject to change. Benepass takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including market comparables, interview performance, peer compensation, and years of experience.What We Offer
