Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality, scalable and maintainable iOS application architectures, making informed decisions on technology choices and system design.
- Write efficient, clean, and reusable code in Swift, following best practices and guidelines to ensure high performance and user-friendly applications.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and identify areas for improvement, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the application, optimizing resource usage, and improving overall responsiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces, ensuring a consistent and delightful user experience across different iOS devices.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the iOS platform and integrating them into applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of iOS development experience
- Proven experience in iOS application development, with a strong portfolio of published applications.
- Proficiency with the Swift programming language.
- Deep understanding of iOS architecture, design patterns and best practices.
- Experience with UIKit and willingness to learn and use SwiftUI.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Ability to navigate large & complex code-bases and adding/changing features without introducing technical debt
- Experience with multi-threading using both GCD and Swift Concurrency
- Deep understanding of memory management and performance optimization
- Experience with tools such as Git, SPM, Fastlane, Firebase.
- Familiarity with lower level frameworks such as Metal and OpenGL is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying on top of emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with people of all technical levels.
- Passion for product quality and attention to detail.
