About us:

Syndica supplies the most critical applications in Web3 with enterprise-grade RPC infrastructure and developer tools tailored for the Solana ecosystem. Joining our team means you'll be held to a high standard, technically challenged, and grow close to a group of individuals passionate about building new infrastructure technologies.

We are backed by strategic partners, investors, and advisors who are all-in on our mission: Chamath Palihapitiya of Social Capital, Steve Jang of Kindred Ventures, Joe McCann of Asymmetric, Jump Crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Solana Ventures, Circle Ventures, and many more.
About you:

You're an experienced iOS engineer who thrives in high-impact environments where architecture, performance, and user experience are critical. You’ve built and scaled mobile applications for large user bases and know how to make them fast, reliable, and sleek.

  • 5+ years of professional iOS development experience, with production apps used at scale.

  • Deep expertise in Swift, UIKit and/or SwiftUI, with a strong understanding of Apple’s frameworks, system APIs, and best practices.

  • A strong foundation in mobile architecture and design patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, etc.).

  • Experience architecting modular, testable, and performant iOS codebases from the ground up.

  • A passion for crafting beautiful, fluid, and intuitive UI/UX experiences.

  • Solid understanding of data handling, background threading, caching strategies, and persistence (e.g., Core Data, SQLite).

  • Experience with instrumentation and tooling for performance analysis, crash reporting, and continuous monitoring.

  • Proven ability to ship quickly without sacrificing stability, polish, or scalability.

  • Clear communication skills and comfort working closely with designers and cross-functional teams.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Standout Experience:

  • Led architecture or re-architecture of a high-scale, user-facing mobile app.

  • Worked in fast-paced, product-driven environments like Stripe, Coinbase, or Robinhood.

  • Familiarity with Web3 technologies, Solana wallets, or cryptographic integrations on mobile.

About the role:

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you’ll take ownership of designing and delivering performant, scalable, and sleek mobile features for our Web3-powered tools and apps. You’ll work closely with design and backend teams to build a seamless user experience for developers and end users alike.

Key responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement high-quality iOS features with an emphasis on performance and scalability.

  • Own mobile performance, from launch time and memory usage to smooth interactions and responsiveness.

  • Define and maintain patterns and frameworks to keep the codebase scalable and efficient.

  • Integrate with REST/GraphQL APIs and implement robust data handling, including offline support and caching.

  • Collaborate with designers to deliver pixel-perfect, platform-native UI.

  • Contribute to developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and documentation.

  • Drive best practices across the engineering team.

What does success in this role look like?

  • In three months, you’ve led the implementation of core features, contributed to architectural decisions, and driven improvements in performance and code quality.

  • In six months, you’ve led a major performance upgrade or refactor, contributed to product planning, and established iOS best practices.

  • In twelve months, you’ve helped define the long-term vision for our mobile platform, led large-scale architecture initiatives, and ensured the app scales with our growing user base.
