The Position:

The Gameday team is paving the way for all video experiences for the GameChanger app. Providing a stable and feature rich streaming platform for coaches and parents, and a delightful viewing experience for those who can't make it to the game, the Gameday team is constantly improving what has quickly become an important part of what users love about GameChanger. As a Senior iOS Software Engineer, you will use modern tools to lead feature development in our native iOS application and across the stack. You will build engaging user-facing features by contributing your expertise, writing code, and making architectural decisions on a team of Product Managers, Designers, QA Analysts, and Engineers. You will report to one of our Product Engineering Managers.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead feature development for live video streaming experiences for video producers and consumers.

  • Collaborate with peers on important decisions about how our applications are architected and built.

  • Team up with designers, testers, and product managers to find the best solutions for our customers.

  • Teach and learn with engineers across the company.

  • Promote responsible engineering practices and mentor team members.

  • Drive consensus on your team and solutions to challenging problems.

  • Engineer software solutions with an emphasis on high-quality development standards, ensuring reliability, and maintainability.

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years experience leading successful iOS projects and shipping beautiful, high-quality apps.

  • Experience with regular design and code reviews with development team members to confirm use of best practices.

  • Can evaluate and develop skills in new technologies.

  • Experience working with the latest iOS tech.

  • Comfort working with a cross-functional product team.

  • Experience mentoring engineers and organizing work within a team.

  • Experience weighing specific technical tradeoffs to maximize impact for effort.

  • Experience creating detailed technical documentation.

The target salary range for this position is between $160,000 and $180,000. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We constantly review all teammate pay to ensure a great compensation package that is fair and equal across the board.
