Application & ERP Leadership

  • Own the roadmap, architecture, and lifecycle management of the organization's ERP and related enterprise applications (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Manufacturing modules).
  • Lead ERP implementations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations end-to-end, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-launch stabilization.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and oversee configuration, customization, and testing activities.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex application issues, working with vendors and internal teams to drive root-cause resolution.
  • Evaluate new modules, third-party add-ons, and emerging ERP capabilities to recommend improvements aligned with business goals.

Project & Program Management

  • Plan, scope, and manage IT application projects — defining timelines, budgets, resource plans, and success criteria.
  • Manage project governance: status reporting, risk/issue logs, change control, and stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (finance, operations, HR, external consultants/system integrators) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Apply structured project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) appropriate to project scope.
  • Manage vendor and consulting relationships, including SOWs, deliverables tracking, and contract performance.

Team & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of application analysts, developers, and/or junior consultants.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to understand pain points and prioritize the application roadmap accordingly.
  • Present project updates, business cases, and technology recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Champion change management and user adoption efforts for new systems and process changes.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure application environments comply with security, data governance, and audit requirements.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for application performance, uptime, and user satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous process improvement, automation, and standardization across business applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or related field (Master's a plus).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT application management, ERP consulting, or enterprise systems roles, including at least 3+ years in a lead or managerial capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major ERP platform (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Infor, Workday) — implementation, configuration, or support experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing full project lifecycles, including budget and resource management.
  • Strong understanding of core business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Manufacturing, or Procurement).
  • Proven ability to manage vendors, consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for non-technical business audiences and vice versa.
