The Senior IT Business Partner is a senior individual contributor and strategic technology advisor responsible for aligning business strategy, technology investments, digital transformation, AI enablement, and operational capabilities to achieve measurable business outcomes. The role operates with significant autonomy, influences Director, VP, and executive stakeholders, and serves as the primary strategic liaison between the business and technology organizations.

This is a remote-based position that can be located anywhere in North America.

Scope, Impact & Accountability:
  • Acts as the primary strategic technology advisor to the Managed Business unit.
  • Influences multi-year roadmaps, investment prioritization, and technology portfolio decisions.
  • Accountable for business value realization, adoption outcomes, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Drives customer experience, operational efficiency, scalability, and growth through technology-enabled solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the trusted technology advisor to business leadership and related functions.
  • Develop and maintain the multi-year technology roadmap for this business, coordinating with other functional IT Business Partners.
  • Manage intake, prioritization, governance, and value realization for technology demand.
  • Serve as point of contact for IT and provide updates to business on technology changes and upcoming capabilities.
  • Build strategic business cases and investment recommendations.
  • Apply a product-management mindset to roadmap planning, customer outcomes, adoption, and prioritization decisions.
  • Map end-to-end business processes across acquisition, onboarding, service delivery, customer success, billing, support, and retention.
  • Lead AI, automation, analytics, and digital transformation opportunities.
  • Lead transformation initiatives from ideation through value realization.
Industry & Market Experience (Strongly Preferred)
  • Experience supporting Managed Service Providers (MSPs), broadband providers, telecommunications organizations, technology services firms, SaaS providers, or channel ecosystems.
  • Understanding of subscription-based and recurring revenue business models.
  • Knowledge of customer acquisition, onboarding, service delivery, customer success, retention, and growth motions.
  • Experience supporting businesses that provide technology, connectivity, managed services, cloud services, cybersecurity services, or digital services.
MDU Market Experience (Strongly Preferred):
  • Experience supporting businesses delivering technology and connectivity solutions into Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) environments.
  • Knowledge of multifamily housing, student housing, senior living, hospitality, venues and mixed-use property markets.
  • Understanding of managed Wi‑Fi, fiber broadband, smart property technologies, and digital resident experiences.
  • Ability to translate MDU/MSP market trends and customer needs into technology roadmaps and business capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, MIS, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT business partnering, consulting, technology strategy, enterprise applications, product management, business relationship management, or transformation leadership.
  • 5+ years partnering with senior business leaders and executives.
  • Experience developing strategic roadmaps, investment plans, and business cases.
Preferred Credentials:
  • MBA or advanced business/technology degree.
  • BRMP, PMP, ITIL, Agile, SAFe, TOGAF, COBIT, or similar certifications.
  • Experience leading enterprise AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.

The base pay range for this position varies based on the geographic location. More information about the pay range specific to candidate location and other factors will be shared during the recruitment process. Individual pay is determined based on location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

San Francisco Bay Area:

149,500 - 224,300 USD Annual

Select US Metros and States:

130,000 - 195,000 USD Annual

Other US Locations:

117,000 - 175,500 USD Annual
