Senior IT & Cybersecurity Account Executive
Position Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Senior IT & Cybersecurity Account Executive with a proven background in B2B hunting, managed IT services, and cybersecurity sales. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who thrives in complex sales environments, understands recurring revenue models, and has experience selling into mid-market organizations across healthcare and manufacturing sectors.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience driving net-new business, managing long sales cycles, and collaborating closely with technical engineering teams to deliver customized IT and security solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities within the mid-market space
  • Manage full-cycle consultative sales processes ranging from 60 to 120 days
  • Sell managed IT services, cloud security solutions, and vCISO consulting engagements
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare and manufacturing clients
  • Generate and grow recurring monthly revenue (MRR) through strategic account acquisition
  • Partner with pre-sales engineers and technical teams to scope and position complex solutions
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities and consistently exceed sales quotas
  • Deliver presentations, proposals, and solution-based recommendations tailored to client needs
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value recurring revenue agreements
  • Stay current on cybersecurity trends, compliance requirements, and emerging cloud technologies
Preferred Experience
  • Background in vCISO consulting sales
  • Experience handling complex multi-stakeholder sales environments
  • Existing network or portable book of business within the Dallas-Fort Worth market
  • Track record of closing long-term service agreements and recurring contracts
Compensation
  • Base salary target: $80,000 – $120,000
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Performance-driven growth opportunities
  • Additional incentives tied to recurring revenue generation


Requirements
  • 6+ years of pure B2B hunter sales experience
  • Proven success selling managed IT services, cybersecurity, or cloud-based solutions
  • Experience managing consultative enterprise or mid-market sales cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed quota performance consistently
  • Strong understanding of recurring revenue sales models and MRR growth strategies
  • Experience selling into healthcare and manufacturing verticals preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical engineering and solution architecture teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
