Position Summary:

The Senior IT Project Manager plays a critical role in driving successful delivery of technology and business transformation initiatives at TridentCare. This position directly supports the VP of IT PMO & Transformation and is responsible for managing complex projects, enhancing project governance, and ensuring that key initiatives deliver tangible business value.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a multi-site, healthcare services environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of complex IT and business transformation projects.
  • Support the development and rollout of PMO standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations; proactively manage changes and communicate impacts.
  • Facilitate regular status updates, steering committee meetings, and executive presentations.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues; implement effective mitigation and resolution strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to change management processes and compliance with PMO methodologies and quality standards.
  • Contribute to portfolio-level reporting, benefits tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior project managers and foster a culture of accountability and transparency within the PMO.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE  

·         Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).

·         PMP or equivalent project management certification strongly preferred.

·         5–8 years of experience managing complex IT and business projects in a structured PMO environment; healthcare industry experience a plus.

·         Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

·         Strong financial and vendor management skills.

·         Advanced skills in project management tools (e.g., ServiceNow PPM, MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).

·         Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with executive stakeholders.
