The Opportunity: Senior IT Systems Engineer

As a Senior IT Systems Engineer at Wrapbook, you will play a critical role in enabling our teams to work efficiently, securely, and at scale. As part of a small team, you will own end-user support, the employee IT lifecycle, asset management, and access governance across our distributed environment. You will build reliable, automated, and secure systems that support Wrapbook’s rapid growth—including enabling the use of various AI technologies—while keeping the employee experience at the center.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves solving problems, and brings a blend of hands-on IT operations expertise, mature customer service instincts, and a passion for improving processes. Although we are a remote-first company, this role requires regular on-site presence at our Burbank office and occasional travel to a secondary office in Toronto.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary for end-user support, resolving issues across hardware, software, access, and identity while driving improvements to support workflows.

  • Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring secure provisioning, accurate access setup, device configuration, and clean deprovisioning.

  • Administer identity and access management within Okta and key SaaS platforms, managing entitlements, groups, access reviews, and application lifecycle governance.

  • Maintain and improve Intune and Jamf environments by enforcing configuration standards, ensuring compliance, and participating in fleet hygiene and optimization efforts.

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and documentation to support scalable, consistent IT operations and reduce repetitive work.

  • Partner with the IT Systems Engineer to identify and implement automation and workflow optimizations that streamline onboarding, access management, and helpdesk intake.

  • Provide onsite support for the LA office, including conference room tech, workstation setups, light network coordination, and occasional event support.

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Security to support policy updates, audit readiness, and operational improvements across the employee and application lifecycle.

What You’ll Have
  • 5+ years of broad IT experience, including support, SaaS administration, asset management, and operational IT program work.

  • Comfort working in a remote-first environment with the ability to be regularly on-site at our Burbank office, including occasional travel to our Toronto office.

  • Comfort leveraging AI to augment day-to-day work and establishing AI-powered workflows.

  • Strong working knowledge of Intune and Jamf device management environments.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, and modern SaaS applications.

  • Solid understanding of identity and access management, authentication models, and standard IT security practices.

  • Experience working in remote-first environments and supporting distributed teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and partner effectively across departments and seniority levels.

  • A proactive, service-oriented mindset with the ability to balance day-to-day support execution with long-term operational improvements.
