Summary of Role:
The Senior Lead, Commercial Transformation & Governance, role plays a key part in GlobalFoundries' commercial transformation, helping translate strategy into scalable execution as GF continues to grow, evolve, and integrate new capabilities. You will contribute to the design and standardization of end-to-end commercial processes, support technology and data enablement, and help deliver measurable, sustainable improvements across the business.
Working within GF's broader transformation agenda, you will support initiatives spanning commercial systems, AI-enabled insights and automation, and M&A integration, ensuring new processes, tools, and operating models are effectively adopted and embedded. Your work will directly influence how GF engages customers, enables sales teams, and scales commercial operations in complex, cross-functional environments.
As a close partner to Commercial Sales & End Markets, Commercial Operations, Finance, Product Lines, Pricing, Supply Chain, and IT, you will go beyond traditional project execution, bringing structured problem-solving, analytical rigor, and a continuous-improvement mindset to address real business challenges. This role offers the opportunity to operate at the intersection of process, systems, data, and change, contributing to transformation initiatives with visible impact and broad exposure.
Essential Responsibilities
Lead and support cross-functional commercial transformation initiatives that improve execution, enable scale, and strengthen adoption across GlobalFoundries' commercial ecosystem. Key areas of focus include:
- Commercial Process Ownership: Own and evolve end-to-end commercial processes from Market-through-Order, ensuring clear standards, governance, and alignment across Sales, Commercial Operations, Finance, Pricing, Supply Chain, and IT.
- Commercial Systems Enablement: Drive stabilization, adoption, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) and related commercial platforms. Partner with business and IT teams to simplify sales execution, improve data quality, and enable predictable, scalable workflows.
- AI & Automation Enablement: Identify, evaluate, and support deployment of AI-enabled insights and automation to improve seller productivity, pipeline quality, forecasting, and operational efficiency, with a focus on practical, high-impact use cases.
- M&A Commercial Integration: Support integration of commercial processes, data, and systems for acquired businesses, ensuring alignment to GF standards and minimizing disruption to customers and sales teams.
- Customer Journey Design: Partner to create a differentiated, value-driven customer experience from prospect to production order, identifying critical improvement opportunities.
- Program Execution & Governance: Lead defined workstreams within larger transformation programs, managing dependencies, risks, and milestones while ensuring alignment with enterprise governance, change readiness, and adoption plans.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 8–12 years of experience in Business Transformation, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, preferably within semiconductor or high-tech industries.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning process, systems, and data.
- Strong understanding of sales, sales operations, and lead-to-cash processes, including process design and governance.
- Hands-on experience supporting or leading enterprise system implementations or enhancements, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP-integrated environments.
- Proven ability to operate in complex organizations with multiple stakeholders, priorities, and workstreams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Effective communications skills and experience supporting change management and adoption (communications, training, readiness).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Experience in these areas is a plus, though not required:
- Experience acting as a Business Process Owner, Product Owner, or Transformation Lead.
- Exposure to AI and automation use cases in commercial or operational environments.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, including backlog management, user story development, acceptance criteria, test case development, and UAT coordination.
- Prior involvement in M&A integration for business processes, systems, or data.
- Certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum, Lean/Six Sigma, Prosci/ADKAR (or equivalent).
- Experience working within the global semiconductor industry.
Expected Salary Range
$105,000.00 - $215,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
