As the Senior Leader of AI Strategic Enablement for Micron's EnableAI initiative, you will serve as the coordination point for AI enablement efforts within the Enterprise Infrastructure and Security team. In this capacity, you will oversee agile technical enablement and delivery - composed of engineers, data scientists, and security specialists-tasked with delivering robust AI solutions that address core business challenges. Your primary responsibility is to implement AI solutions that can be used by the larger Micron workforce, ensuring that both efficiency and security are foundational to every deployment. By aligning technical innovation with strategic business objectives, you will elevate AI from functional capability to a source of sustained competitive advantage, serving as the driving force behind the organization's enablement strategy!
Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead agile technical delivery teams to unify and scale AI efforts, aiming to deliver a robust portfolio of enterprise AI solutions across the enterprise.
  • Operationalize Secure Guardrails: Integrate automated security controls into Micron's AI ecosystem (CI/CD pipelines, sensitive data classification, identities, etc.). Position security as an enabler, ensuring solutions are "secure by design".
  • Translate Business Needs: Convert business challenges into actionable technical strategies, focusing on rapid, high-impact solutions that yield clear returns and avoid unnecessary delays.
  • Define Enterprise Architecture: Help establish the enterprise AI architecture through a strategic roadmap, selection of robust frameworks, and standardization of reusable development patterns to support global deployment.
  • Develop Talent: Cultivate and guide an AI engineering team of the highest caliber. Encourage ongoing learning that aligns skill levels between a distributed team, supporting around-the-clock delivery and emphasizing innovation through experimentation.
  • Represent EnableAI Initiative: Act as the designated spokesperson for EnableAI, collaborating with internal and external customers. Work collaboratively with strategic partners to showcase Micron's engineering accomplishments within industry contexts, while consistently emphasizing the unified enablement vision.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 10 years in software engineering or IT, including 5+ years in senior leadership managing AI/ML or digital transformation portfolios.
  • Technical Depth: Deep understanding of modern AI stacks (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, vector databases) and MLOps ecosystems; familiarity with security automation tools (for code scanning, vulnerability management, and data classification).
  • Governance Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams in regulated or security-conscious environments and to implement governance frameworks such as "Governance as Code."
  • Leadership Style: Servant-leader mentality with the ability to influence C-suite customers and empower agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience scaling AI initiatives across global organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in building partnerships with major cloud providers (hyperscalers) or AI startups.
  • MBA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Public speaking experience and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
