*While this position may be worked remotely, there would be regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL U.S. headquarters, so priority will be given to local candidates.

• Salary Range: $160,000-170,000.
• Position is eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan with a target of 14% of the base salary.

- Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across all Fresenius Kabi business areas and identify targets for inorganic growth. Special focus nutrition, MedTech and biopharmaceuticals segments as aligned with Fresenius Kabi strategic growth vectors.
- Prepare pitch documents for Fresenius Kabi management to create alignment and support prioritization efforts related to inorganic targets.
- Manage internal strategic corporate portfolio analysis and recommendation of new business areas, target evaluations, scenario planning and modeling activities.
- Build valuations for target assets using various industry relevant valuation mechanisms such as DCF, NPV and precedent analysis.
- Manage strategic corporate projects including inorganic opportunities through all phases including identifying, evaluating, negotiating and execution.
- Work closely with functional leads, business owners, regional heads and collaborate with global cross functional teams to deliver on corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
- Effectively present Fresenius Kabi as a preferred partner/owner to external interfaces, including consultants, brokers, business principals and investment banks.
- Leverage key business insights and understanding of prevailing market dynamics to support discussions related to strategy and future direction of the business.
- Support Fresenius Kabi’s corporate strategic planning activities globally on an ongoing basis
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a market or scientific/technical/finance field required. MBA strongly preferred
- Investment banking experience strongly preferred, and/or buy-side M&A transaction experience
- 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in BD, M&A, Strategy and business analytics functions
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare
- Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact
- Demonstrated success in a highly complex, matrix organization
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel up to 15%, including international travel
