The Impact You Will Make

The Senior Corporate Strategy & Development Manager plays a key role in advancing the strategic priorities of Risepoint by leading complex cross-functional initiatives, delivering actionable market and business insights, and supporting strategic planning efforts across the organization. This role partners closely with leaders across Finance, Operations, Growth, Product, and other functions to evaluate opportunities, solve business challenges, and drive execution of high-priority initiatives.
 

The Senior Manager serves as a trusted thought partner by applying structured problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and market intelligence to inform business decisions, identify opportunities for growth, and support corporate development initiatives. This role leads end-to-end strategic projects and helps translate business priorities into measurable outcomes.
 

Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, comfort navigating ambiguity, and the ability to build effective partnerships across teams. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational execution and thrives in a fast-paced environment where collaboration, influence, and results matter.

What You Will Do

  • Lead complex cross-functional strategic initiatives that support company priorities, including growth strategies, operating model improvements, business diagnostics, and evaluation of new business opportunities.
  • Partner with functional leaders to translate business priorities into actionable plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and adjacent markets to identify risks, emerging growth opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop business cases, financial analyses, and executive-level recommendations to support investment, growth, and operational decisions.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics for strategic initiatives, evaluate progress against objectives, and recommend corrective actions when needed.
  • Facilitate corporate development and partnership activities by coordinating diligence efforts, managing cross-functional workstreams, supporting executive decision-making, tracking key milestones, and contributing to integration planning and execution.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment by coordinating stakeholders, communicating project progress, and resolving issues that impact delivery.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, analyses, and communications that enable informed decision-making and drive organizational alignment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Develop and implement performance tracking for key strategic priorities, providing regular reporting and actionable recommendations.
  • Produce market, competitive, and business analyses that directly inform executive decision-making and strategic planning discussions.
  • Facilitate corporate development activities and support evaluation of growth opportunities and partnerships through structured analysis, stakeholder coordination, and execution support.
  • Establish strong cross-functional partnerships and become a trusted advisor to leaders across key business functions.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Experience That Matters Most

  • 5+ years of professional experience leading analytical, strategic, or business-critical initiatives in a corporate, consulting, finance, or operational environment.
  • Experience supporting corporate development activities, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, due diligence, or integration planning.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects from problem definition through implementation.
  • Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations, business cases, and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.

Experience That’s Great to Have

  • 1–3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a corporate strategy function.
  • Experience in workforce education, edtech, higher education, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience supporting strategic planning, business transformation, partnerships, acquisitions, or evaluation of new growth opportunities.
  • MBA or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
