THE ROLE

Thrive Market is seeking a Director of ERP to lead and scale our enterprise applications ecosystem, with a primary focus on NetSuite and its integrations across Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and Operations.

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will own ERP platform vision and execution, lead a growing team of developers, analysts, and support resources, and partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders to ensure our systems scale with the business. You’ll be responsible for translating business needs into a clear technical roadmap, ensuring system reliability, and driving continuous improvement across our ERP landscape.

The Director of ERP will also play a key role in managing third-party vendors and contractors, overseeing complex integrations (including EDI), and ensuring strong governance, documentation, and delivery discipline across ERP initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the overall ERP strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and broader business priorities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional ERP team, including NetSuite developers, business analysts, and support analysts
  • Partner closely with Accounting, Finance, and IT leaders to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable ERP solutions
  • Oversee design, development, and delivery of NetSuite customizations, integrations, workflows, and enhancements
  • Provide technical and architectural leadership for NetSuite and adjacent systems, ensuring best practices, performance, and data integrity
  • Manage third-party contractors and vendors on complex ERP and integration initiatives, ensuring quality, timelines, and cost control
  • Lead and support ERP integrations across the enterprise, including EDI and third-party platforms
  • Establish and maintain strong governance around documentation, testing, deployments, and change management
  • Drive continuous improvement across ERP processes, tooling, and team workflows
  • Ensure clear communication of project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership
  • Support system reliability and scalability as the business continues to grow and evolve

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience in ERP, enterprise applications, or IT systems roles, with increasing leadership responsibility
  • Strong background in Accounting, Finance, and/or IT applications, with a deep understanding of ERP-driven business processes
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, including customizations, integrations, and platform governance
  • Proven experience leading and managing technical teams, including developers and analysts
  • Experience managing third-party contractors and vendors on complex IT or ERP projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience leading or supporting EDI integrations and data flows across enterprise systems
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, Anaplan, WMS, and/or Workday in a multi-system enterprise environment
  • Experience leading ERP or enterprise system implementations, re-architectures, or major enhancements
  • Familiarity with supply chain, procurement, and financial operations workflows
  • Experience operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Strong documentation, governance, and operational discipline
  • Experience with data integration pipelines such as Amazon MWAA and/or Astronomer
  • SOX compliance experience related to ITGC, Application Controls, Audit and Testing across enterprise systems

JOB INFORMATION
  • Compensation Description - The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $200,000/Per Year.
  • Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and geographic location.
  • Total Compensation includes Base Salary, Annual Bonus, Stock Options, Health & Wellness Benefits, Flexible PTO, and more!
  • This position requires traveling to our HQ office in Los Angeles, California, twice a year for all-company summits; once in the summer and once in the winter.
