Job Description

As the Senior Manager of Executive Communications – Marketing, you will serve as the primary communications partner to Procore’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this role, you’ll lead internal communications across the Marketing organization, shaping the voice of the CMO and ensuring alignment, clarity, and connection across teams. While the role includes supporting the CMO’s external thought leadership, approximately 75% of your time will be focused on internal audiences—driving engagement through department-wide communications, leadership forums, and moments of organizational change.

This is a high-impact role requiring both strategic insight and creative execution. You’ll be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, translating enterprise-wide updates into relevant messaging for Marketing, and fostering an informed, connected department. You’ll also help amplify Procore’s broader brand narrative through select external engagements in partnership with PR, Brand, and Social teams.

This role will report to our Senior Director, Executive Communications and can be based out of any US office or remotely within the US. We are looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the primary communications partner to the CMO—shaping and executing their executive comms strategy and delivering clear, consistent messaging across all internal and external platforms.

  • Drive the internal communications strategy for the Marketing org, including Town Halls, leadership forums, department-wide updates, and moments of change.

  • Translate enterprise-wide messaging into relevant, actionable communications for the Marketing team to foster clarity, alignment, and engagement.

  • Manage an editorial calendar and communications project plans to ensure timely, coordinated messaging across internal channels like All Hands, Slack, AMAs, and email.

  • Support communications around leadership transitions, organizational changes, and business transformation within Marketing.

  • Prepare the CMO and Marketing leaders for internal speaking engagements and ensure message alignment across audiences and events.

  • Collaborate with Brand, PR, and Social Media teams to support external thought leadership and ensure consistency with Procore’s brand narrative.

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of communications experience, with a strong focus on internal and executive communications in high-growth tech environments.

  • Proven track record advising and supporting C-level leaders with confidence, discretion, and executive presence.

  • Exceptional written and verbal storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse internal audiences.

  • Strong project management and organizational abilities; skilled at balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

  • Strategic thinker with excellent execution and attention to detail; strong editing skills and ability to adapt content based on feedback.

  • Familiarity with modern communication platforms (Slack, video, intranet) and visual/multimedia storytelling techniques.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills; able to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; willingness to travel occasionally (~10%).
