WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR ๐ŸŒŸ

We are looking for a Senior Manager of FP&A to join our Finance team in the Bay Area. This is a high-impact, hands-on role that owns the full planning cycle, from annual budget to monthly close to cash forecasting, while serving as a strategic finance partner to business leaders. You will bring both technical depth and commercial instincts, and you will thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO ๐Ÿš€

  • Co-own the full FP&A cycle: annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, monthly close and variance analysis, and rolling forward forecasts across headcount and Opex.
  • Own cash flow forecasting: build and maintain a rolling 12-month cash model using both direct and indirect methods, ensuring the two reconcile and triangulate against each other. Monitor liquidity by building scenario and sensitivity models  to surface risks and opportunities to leadership in advance.
  • Partner closely with GTM leaders (Marketing, Customer Success) to build bottoms-up expense models driven by operational KPIs and unit economics ratios, and track performance against plan.
  • Own and standardize our SaaS KPI framework (MRR, GDR, NDR, CAC, LTV, payback period) and translate metrics into actionable insights for the executive team and board.
  • Expand the operational KPI library to include operational efficiency and unit economics metrics across the business, including but not limited to support ticket volume and resolution rate, agent-to-ticket ratios, cost per lead, pipeline conversion rates, and capacity-based cost drivers (e.g. per-seat or per-location spend).
  • Update the LRP using these metrics as dynamic inputs so that changes in business volume, headcount, or cost structure automatically flow through to the forecast and guide business partners toward optimal operational targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools, and reporting infrastructure.

TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE ๐Ÿ’ฅ

You'll need:

  • 7+ years of FP&A experience with Big 4 accounting or investment banking background.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining a 12-month rolling cash flow forecast using both the direct method (cash receipts and disbursements) and the indirect method (net income adjusted for non-cash items and working capital changes), with the ability to reconcile and triangulate the two outputs.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, ideally with exposure to product-led growth (PLG); you speak fluently about MRR, ARR, GDR, NDR, logo retention, and cohort analysis.
  • Strong command of GAAP accounting and three-statement modeling; you understand how an operational decision flows through the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity, accelerate analysis, and enhance the accuracy of FP&A deliverables.
  • Proven track record owning month-end close, variance analysis, and rolling forecasts in a high-growth environment.
  • Exceptional business partnering skills; you build credibility with non-finance stakeholders across GTM and functional teams and influence decisions without formal authority.
  • Strong communication skills; able to distill complex financial data into clear narratives for leadership and board audiences.

It would be great if you have:

  • Experience at a B2B SaaS company with a self-serve or PLG motion.
  • Pre-IPO start-up experience.
  • Prior experience building or scaling an FP&A function from early stage through growth.

WHAT WE OFFER ๐Ÿค—

We care deeply about your growth, well-being, and comfort:

  • ๐Ÿ“š Annual professional development reimbursement for conference tickets, online courses, and other relevant resources to help you grow.
  • ๐Ÿ’™ Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.
  • ๐Ÿชด Hybrid work and generous leave options to prioritize your work-life balance.
  • ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ In-office perks, including free meals and snacks.
  • ๐Ÿค Company-funded sport activities, annual offsites and team-building events.
