Whip Around is looking for a Senior Manager, Growth Marketing to own and optimize the digital engine that turns prospects into qualified pipeline and customers.

This role will be responsible for understanding and improving the full prospect lifecycle - from acquisition and engagement through conversion and pipeline. You’ll use data to identify where opportunities are being created, where prospects are dropping off, and where we can improve the buyer journey to drive stronger business outcomes.

You’ll lead the strategy, execution, measurement, and continuous optimization of our digital acquisition programs while working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, the broader Marketing team, and external agency partners.

We’re looking for someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution: digging into funnel and attribution data, launching and optimizing campaigns, improving lifecycle programs, and partnering with Sales to increase lead-to-pipeline conversion.

What You Will Own

Growth, Acquisition & Pipeline
  • Own performance across the digital prospect lifecycle, from initial acquisition through qualified lead, opportunity, pipeline, and customer conversion.
  • Develop, launch, test, and continuously optimize digital campaigns targeting Whip Around's key buyers across fleet, transportation, logistics, construction, and related industries.
  • Analyze funnel performance by channel, campaign, audience, industry, and buyer segment to identify opportunities for growth and conversion improvement.
  • Establish clear performance benchmarks and reporting across acquisition, conversion, pipeline contribution, CAC, and channel efficiency.
  • Identify and test new digital channels, audiences, campaigns, and growth opportunities that can expand qualified pipeline.
  • Partner closely with Sales to monitor lead handling, speed-to-lead, MQL-to-SQL conversion, opportunity progression, and overall funnel performance.
Digital Marketing & Optimization
  • Own the ongoing performance and optimization of paid digital programs, with the ability to independently launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Own website conversion strategy and continuously improve prospect journeys, landing pages, calls to action, forms, and conversion paths.
  • Use experimentation and performance data to improve the experience from first interaction through sales engagement and customer conversion.
  • Partner on SEO strategy, including keyword priorities, technical and content opportunities, competitive positioning, and organic performance measurement.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources responsible for executing SEO initiatives.
  • Manage external digital marketing agencies and vendors, establishing clear objectives, performance expectations, accountability, and ROI.
Lifecycle, Nurture & Attribution
  • Own prospect nurture strategy across the buyer lifecycle, developing and optimizing programs based on audience, intent, lifecycle stage, and acquisition channel.
  • Build programs that keep Whip Around top of mind with prospects who are not yet ready to buy and create clear paths for re-engagement.
  • Develop and maintain attribution and performance reporting across marketing channels to provide visibility into what is generating qualified pipeline and revenue.
  • Build and analyze Salesforce reporting and dashboards to understand lead, opportunity, pipeline, and campaign performance.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales Operations to maintain accurate lead tracking, lifecycle stages, campaign attribution, and funnel reporting.
  • Translate performance data into actionable recommendations for Marketing, Sales, and company leadership.
Sales, Customer & GTM Partnership
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership and frontline teams to improve lead quality, follow-up processes, conversion rates, and feedback loops between Sales and Marketing.
  • Support Customer Success and Expansion teams with targeted campaigns, sales enablement, and customer communications designed to drive adoption, retention, and expansion.
  • Support go-to-market planning and execution for key Whip Around product launches and strategic initiatives.
  • Translate product positioning and buyer insights into digital campaigns and lifecycle programs that generate awareness, engagement, and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the broader Marketing team on event lead capture, campaign attribution, follow-up strategy, and post-event nurture to maximize pipeline generated from events and sponsorships.
  • Ensure a consistent and effective prospect experience across marketing, sales, and customer touchpoints.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, demand generation, or a related B2B marketing discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience owning the full acquisition and conversion funnel, with clear accountability for pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Strong B2B SaaS experience preferred, particularly within fleet management, transportation, logistics, construction, operations, or related technology markets.
  • Deep understanding of paid acquisition, SEO, website conversion, lifecycle marketing, attribution, and digital demand generation.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), HubSpot, and Salesforce, including campaign management, marketing automation, lead lifecycle management, reporting, and attribution.
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce reporting and dashboards, with the ability to independently analyze marketing-to-sales funnel and pipeline performance.
  • Hands-on experience launching and optimizing Google Ads and LinkedIn advertising campaigns, including targeting, testing, conversion tracking, budget optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of B2B funnel metrics, including MQL-to-SQL conversion, opportunity conversion, pipeline velocity, CAC, channel ROI, and attribution.
  • Experience building and optimizing lead nurture and lifecycle programs across different audiences, channels, and buying stages.
  • Experience managing digital agencies, consultants, and external vendors with clear performance expectations.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex performance data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams.
  • Proficiency using generative AI tools, including ChatGPT and Claude, to improve marketing productivity, research, analysis, campaign development, content workflows, and experimentation.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • A test-and-learn mindset with the ability to turn data into decisions and decisions into action.
  • Comfortable operating as both a strategic owner and hands-on contributor in a fast-moving environment.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means Whip Around has a clear, measurable, and continuously improving path from digital engagement → qualified lead → sales opportunity → pipeline → customer.

You'll help us understand not just how many leads we're generating, but which audiences, channels, campaigns, and experiences are creating the highest-quality opportunities and revenue then use those insights to continually improve how we acquire and convert Whip Around's next generation of customers.
