Reporting to the Greenway Health Marketing leader, the Senior Manager of Product Marketing will be an inspirational leader of the product marketing team and own strategy for key components of Greenway Health’s products and services. The candidate for this role will have direct responsibility for managing the Product Marketing Managers on the Product Marketing team.  Acting as a mentor and coach for the Product Marketing team, the Sr. Manager, Product Marketing will create an environment of teamwork, performance excellence, and continuous improvement for Greenway’s messaging strategy in the market.

This position will have broad responsibility for the strategic development of our demand generation, brand perception, and awareness of go-to-market activities across the full range of campaigns and promotional programs. The Senior Manager of Product Marketing will also be responsible for managing innovation in product positioning and product launch commercialization, applying market intelligence, leading collateral development, and contributing to sales enablement to maximize sales success for the entirety of the Greenway product portfolio.

The Senior Manager of Product Marketing will ideate, execute and project manage the product marketing strategy to support success in demand generation and client retention for all products in the Greenway portfolio. The Senior Manager of Product Marketing serves as a subject matter expert relative to the sales positioning of each product, working cross-functionally to provide thought leadership and strategic direction on integrated campaign planning with our Marketing Communications, Events Marketing, Creative Director, and Marketing Operations leaders.  The successful candidate for this role will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, combined with the capacity to both ‘think and do’.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads Product Marketing, messaging, and campaign efforts for a full portfolio of software products and enhancements, including go-to-market and demand-generation strategy development via an understanding of industry factors, buyer personas, and competitive landscape.
  • Responsible for GTM campaign metric reporting, and ongoing optimization of results
  • Manages and directs the Product Marketing Managers on the Product Marketing team, providing support, leadership, and developmental opportunities to each of their team members.
  • Develops and manages rollout of marketing materials with the support of the Product Marketing team.
  • Identifies the relevant market-facing positioning of key benefits and value propositions of our products to provide internal sales education and create positive perception and demand in the market.
  • Leads the development of print and interactive collateral and sales tools to promote the product features, functionality, and value of each of the products including, but not limited to, illustrative thought leadership and competitive messaging.
  • Provides subject matter expertise relative to our products to contribute to RFPs, pursuit marketing efforts, articles in industry publications, and internal sales training materials.
  • Partnering with and supporting the sales organization in effective selling and customer engagement.
  • Driving product launch planning and activation in the market across marketing and other contributing client-facing teams.
  • Provides subject matter expertise relative to the competitive aspects of our software solutions through partnering with our Market and Competitive Intelligence team and analyzing data. Aids with competitive positioning and targeting of users or prospects of competitive solutions.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of marketing experience in a corporate environment
  • Solid team leadership experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare experience, or another related field

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Experience building and managing marketing strategy including customer segmentation, value propositions, key messaging, product positioning, and client-centric story development—including deployment and communication of the strategy throughout the organization.
  • Excellent leadership and employee development skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience developing and managing marketing strategies related to the entire product life cycle.
  • Experience creating and managing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to translate product and feature capabilities into value-centric, easily understood messages that can be used across multiple channels.
  • Ability to communicate product information in a concise and understandable manner that can be used by sales personnel to position the client-centric value of the product.
  • Ability to engage and interact with Sr. Leaders in Sales, Product Development, Client Service and Support
  • Proven experience leading across a complete marketing mix, including specific results in performance marketing.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Strong work ethic and can-do attitude, along with the ability to work independently.
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Experience managing third-party vendor relationships.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with, flex to, and support multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities.
  • Confidence and poise when presenting to and interacting with executive leadership.
  • Results-oriented and data-driven personality.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday.
  • This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of the workday.
  • This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as incoming and outgoing communications via the computer and/or mobile devices.
  • The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates.
