Who are we and why should you join us?

BetterHelp is on a mission to remove the traditional barriers to therapy and make mental health care more accessible to everyone. Founded in 2013, we are now the world’s largest online therapy service, providing affordable and convenient therapy across the globe. Our network of over 30,000 licensed therapists has helped millions of people take ownership of their mental health and change their lives forever. And we’re not stopping there – as the unmet need for mental health services continues to grow, BetterHelp is committed to being part of the solution.

As the Senior Manager, Provider Brand and Integrated Marketing at BetterHelp, you’ll join a diverse team of licensed clinicians, engineers, product pros, creatives, marketers, and business leaders who share a passion for expanding access to therapy. And as a mental health company, we take employee mental health just as seriously as we do our mission. We deeply invest in our team’s well-being and professional development, because we know that business and individual growth go hand-in-hand. At BetterHelp, you’ll carve your own path, make an immediate impact, and be challenged every day – with a supportive community behind you the whole way.

This is a highly strategic role with end-to-end ownership of how BetterHelp shows up to providers. You will serve as the single-threaded marketing owner for the provider audience, responsible for defining and scaling the provider marketing strategy to drive acquisition, engagement, and long-term provider value. This role will play a critical part in advancing key company priorities, including insurance adoption, and will operate as the primary marketing partner to cross-functional teams shaping the provider experience.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a strategic, highly autonomous marketing leader to own Provider Brand and Integrated Marketing at BetterHelp.

This individual will define and drive the end-to-end provider marketing strategy, translating business priorities into integrated programs that influence provider acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention. As the team’s subject matter expert on the provider audience, you will shape how BetterHelp positions itself to therapists and clinicians, and partner cross-functionally to influence product, operations, and growth strategies.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in healthcare or provider-focused marketing, with a strong understanding of how to engage professional audiences such as therapists, clinicians, or other licensed providers. They are equally comfortable setting strategy, driving execution, and influencing stakeholders across the organization.

What will you do?Own Provider Marketing Strategy & Vision
  • Define and evolve the end-to-end provider marketing strategy across brand, growth, and lifecycle efforts
  • Establish provider segmentation, positioning, and messaging frameworks, ensuring they scale across channels and markets
  • Serve as the central driver of how BetterHelp shows up to providers, with full ownership of the provider marketing roadmap

  • Own key provider growth outcomes, including acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention
  • Lead marketing strategy for high-priority initiatives, including insurance adoption on the provider side
  • Translate company and product priorities into integrated marketing plans that drive measurable business impact
  • Partner with Data Science to define success metrics, measurement frameworks, and performance targets
Lead Cross-Functional Alignment & Influence
  • Act as the primary marketing partner to Product, Clinical Operations, Growth, Lifecycle, and Data teams on all provider-related initiatives
  • Influence product direction and roadmap decisions by bringing forward provider insights, market trends, and performance data
  • Drive alignment across teams to ensure a cohesive and effective provider experience across all touchpoints
Build & Scale Integrated Marketing Programs
  • Develop and lead integrated marketing campaigns and programs that drive provider acquisition, engagement, and advocacy
  • Oversee key initiatives such as:
    • Ambassador and advocacy programs
    • Events and conferences
    • Partnerships and community engagement
    • Owned content platforms
  • Ensure consistent, compelling storytelling across all channels and touchpoints
Global & Market Expansion
  • Define the global provider marketing strategy and guide localization for international markets
  • Develop scalable playbooks for entering and growing provider supply in new regions
  • Partner with regional stakeholders to ensure relevance and effectiveness of messaging and programs
Operationalize Insights, Measurement & Optimization
  • Establish and own frameworks for tracking provider brand health and marketing performance (e.g., provider sentiment, engagement metrics)
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations that inform strategy and improve outcomes
  • Build feedback loops across brand, lifecycle, and growth efforts to continuously optimize performance
What will you NOT do?
  • You will NOT worry about "runway", "cash left", or "how much time we have until the next round". We have the startup DNA but we're fully backed and funded, all the way to success.
  • You will NOT be confined to your "job". You will get involved in product, marketing, business strategy, and almost everything we do.
  • You will NOT be bogged down by office politics, ego, or bad attitude. Only positive, pleasure-to-work-with people are allowed here!
  • You will NOT get yourself burned out. We work hard but we believe in maintaining a sustainable work/life balance. Really.
