The Senior Manager, Revenue Systems owns both the process design and system architecture of Lytx’s GTM engine. This role sits within Revenue Operations and partners closely with Enterprise Business Systems to ensure our sales, marketing, and customer systems are not only integrated—but intentionally designed to reinforce the way we sell, market, and retain customers.
This is not a ticket-taking admin role. This is a hands on process architect role. This role is for someone who understands that scalable revenue requires disciplined process design—and knows how to build systems that enforce and enable it.
Key Responsibilities
GTM Process Architecture & Optimization
- Design, document, and continuously refine core GTM processes across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Ensure Salesforce opportunity stages accurately reflect the enterprise sales cycle and enable clean forecasting, inspection, and pipeline management.
- Align stage definitions, exit criteria, required fields, and automation to support real-world selling behavior.
- Drive standardized outbound prospecting workflows that reduce context switching and tool fragmentation for BDRs.
- Improve handoffs between BDR → AE → CS by simplifying routing logic, ownership rules, and data capture.
- Identify friction points in daily workflows and redesign them to improve speed and clarity.
GTM Systems Strategy & Architecture
- Define and maintain the long-term GTM tech stack strategy in partnership with Enterprise Business Systems.
- Evaluate and rationalize tools to eliminate redundancy and reduce operational complexity.
- Ensure systems scale with enterprise growth and evolving sales motions.
- Establish a tiered ownership framework on existing GTM tech stack that defines depth of ownership for each system. Ex Tier 1 = architectural and administration control, Tier 2 = Co-managed strategy and configuration, Tier 3 – Integration support.
- Manage vendor relationships, partnering with procurement and senior leadership on contract negotiations and ROI analysis
AI & Intelligent Automation
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning to improve GTM efficiency, data quality, and decision-making.
- Embed AI capabilities into core GTM workflows (e.g., lead scoring, next-best action, forecasting support, activity capture, and pipeline insights).
- Evaluate and operationalize AI features within existing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Gong, marketing automation) before introducing new tools.
- Design processes that incorporate AI outputs with clear guardrails, ownership, and validation (not blind trust in black-box outputs).
- Reduce manual data entry and administrative burden through AI-driven automation, enrichment, and workflow acceleration.
Systems Integration & Workflow Automation
- Reduce manual work by designing automation that enforces process standards.
- Ensure data flows accurately and predictably between platforms to support process automation.
- Establish governance standards for fields, validation rules, routing logic, and system dependencies.
Business Partnership & Initiative Enablement
- Meet regularly with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders to understand strategic initiatives and roadmap changes.
- Translate initiatives (new segments, pricing models, outbound strategies, partner motions, etc.) into system and process requirements.
- Proactively recommend workflow and automation improvements that improve productivity and visibility.
Operational Roadmap & Execution
- Own the GTM systems and process roadmap.
- Partner with Enterprise Business Systems on configuration, API integrations, and release cycles.
- Define SLAs and ensure delivery aligns with revenue priorities.
Team Leadership
- Manage team member(s) responsible for administration of Gong, LeanData, Xactly, and other systems, as needed.
- Establish standards for configuration, documentation, and change management.
- Develop clear ownership boundaries between admin-level support and architectural-level design.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, GTM Systems Engineering, or Business Systems.
- Deep Salesforce experience, including opportunity lifecycle design, automation, and workflow configuration.
- Demonstrated experience redesigning sales stages, routing models, or outbound workflows to improve execution.
- Experience implementing or operationalizing AI capabilities within GTM systems (e.g., CRM AI features, conversational intelligence, or predictive analytics).
- Strong understanding of how to apply AI pragmatically to business processes (not just tools, but actual workflow impact).
- Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, middleware, and data architecture.
- Experience simplifying complex GTM tool environments.
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous business goals into structured processes and technical execution.
- Experience managing direct reports.
- Strong cross-functional influence across Sales, Marketing, and CS leadership.
