Ciklum is looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our talented Security Squad. Our team tackles some of the most complex security challenges which accompany our cloud infrastructure and flagship micro-segmentation product, that isolates workloads and services within a network to limit unauthorized movement and reduce risk. By working at the intersection of networking, security, and scalability, we ensure the product can handle real-world enterprise demands while protecting critical assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning the quality of new security features from requirements through delivery across product areas and technologies
  • Writing, maintaining, and presenting detailed test plans
  • Designing and executing reliable, efficient, and thorough manual test cases
  • Collaborating closely with engineering teams, product teams, customer success, and professional services to ensure smooth secure releases
  • Investigating, documenting, and reporting issues with clear steps to reproduce
  • Contributing to periodical security update processes and assisting troubleshoot related issues
  • Supporting vulnerability management by monitoring library updates and identifying risks

Requirements:

  • Have 4+ years of experience in manual quality assurance and software testing
  • Have 3+ years of experience in end-to-end testing of large-scale backend or full-stack projects
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites
  • Experience working with Linux-based systems
  • Familiarity with cyber security concepts and technologies
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
