About the role

The Senior Marketing Manager, Demand Gen owns paid media strategy and execution end to end, alongside the marketing operations and measurement systems that support it. This role is responsible for running paid campaigns across multiple channels, owning the marketing tech stack, and building the reporting that ties marketing activity to pipeline and revenue. The Senior Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing Director, the content & social lead, and the events marketing manager.

What You'll Do

Own paid media strategy and execution across search, social, and display — planning, launching, and optimizing campaigns without relying on an outside media agency

Build and maintain the marketing systems that keep the function running: HubSpot workflows, list hygiene, lead routing, campaign tracking, and CRM integrity

Define what marketing tracks and why — build dashboards and reporting that connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue, and distinguish vanity metrics from real signal

Lead SEO and content production cadence, testing and iterating on demand gen tactics across channels

Own the marketing technology stack (HubSpot, GA4, Google Ads) — knowing when to add tools and when to cut them

Administer HubSpot at an admin level, not just as an end user

Maintain UTM architecture and tagging standards across all campaigns and channels

Build and deliver reporting that leadership actually uses to make decisions

What You Bring

Required:

5+ years in B2B or agency marketing with direct, hands-on ownership of paid demand gen and marketing operations

Proven ownership of paid media strategy and execution across multiple channels (search, social, display) without dependence on a media agency

        HubSpot admin-level proficiency

Strong working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, SEMRush, and UTM architecture

Clear written communicator who thinks in data and moves without being asked

Track record of building reporting and dashboards that leadership actually uses

Preferred:

Experience at a digital agency or within the Shopify ecosystem

Familiarity with Asana or similar project tracking tools

Key Competencies:

        Technical marketing acumen

        Paid media execution

        Data fluency and measurement rigor

        Marketing operations / systems thinking

        Ownership and autonomy

        Written communication
