This role supports day-to-day production execution through capacity analysis, schedule development, workload balancing, and responsive support for ad hoc operational needs. This position is for candidates with strong planning and analytical skills who can support production output through effective capacity management and schedule execution. - Support day-to-day production activities to help ensure output targets are met.
- Respond to ad hoc requests and shifting operational priorities in support of production execution.
- Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on capacity, resource availability, and operational needs.
- Perform workload balancing and analyze constraints affecting production flow and schedule performance.
- Maintain and update Aurora models as required to support capacity analysis, planning scenarios, and schedule evaluation.
- Analyze production data, process flow, and work content to identify bottlenecks and capacity risks.
- Support labor loading, resource utilization, and production readiness activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve planning issues and support timely execution.
- Monitor schedule performance and provide updates, recommendations, and recovery support as needed.
- Support implementation of process or schedule changes to improve throughput and operational effectiveness.
- Assist with reporting, tracking, and analysis of production metrics and planning assumptions.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective action efforts related to schedule or capacity impacts.

- Experience in capacity planning, production planning, industrial engineering, manufacturing planning, or operations support.
- Experience supporting NASA programs.
- Experience analyzing processes, workflows, production data, or schedule impacts.
- Experience developing or maintaining production schedules.
- Experience with workload balancing and capacity analysis.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required site access and any applicable background screening or security requirements.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience supporting Kennedy Space Center operations.
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing, launch operations, or mission support environments.
- Experience with schedule integration, resource loading, or production performance reporting.
- Proficiency with planning tools, reporting methods, and capacity analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional aerospace environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
