Job Summary

Responsible for performing complex financial analysis assignments, specifically related to reimbursement issues. The position contributes to the accuracy of system-level net revenue reporting in the financial statements and develops impactful analytics. The position contributes to the organization’s overall understanding of net revenue performance drivers.
This position promotes an environment in which a commitment to innovation and adding value to the organization is apparent. The incumbent provides creative insights and critical thinking skills in determining the appropriate technique or process to complete complex job duties. Typically reports to Director, Net Revenue.Job Description

KODIAK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: The candidate in this Senior Net Revenue Analyst position must have Kodiak (Crowe) experience to be considered. Need not apply if you don't have this experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  Bachelor Degree (preferred concentration in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics). Advanced degree preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:  Certified Public Accountant preferred

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • Minimum seven (7) years of work experience in net revenue

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Revenue accounting knowledge and experience required

  • Skills must include analytical capabilities sufficient for providing net revenue observations

  • Working knowledge of net revenue and reimbursement structures from commercial and government payors

  • Experience retrieving data from various systems such as Excel, Lawson, EPSI, and Crowe RCA

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead level analyst; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff

  • Supports monthly financial close process with specific focus on ensuring data content accuracy, preparing trend models, researching rate variance explanations and communicating findings.  Journal entry preparation and reconciliation is required.

  • Analyzes and interprets financial data, discerns important trends that can be used by management for decision making.

  • Contributes to the development of accounting reserve methodologies.

  • Prepares schedules for financial reporting to external sources, to include auditors

  • Seeks to understand the relationships and dependencies from all aspects of the revenue cycle and reimbursement sources on the net revenue performance. 

  • Prepares Managed Care contract performance trending reports

  • Liaises with departments across the organization, to include finance executives

  • Contributes to cross-departmental projects and net revenue software implementations

  • Remains informed of government and commercial reimbursement and regulatory changes

  • Active in the Crowe RCA user community

  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization.
