About the Role

We are looking for a Senior NetSuite Engineer to own the architecture, scalability, and long-term evolution of our Financial Technology platform.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role for someone who operates as both a systems thinker and hands-on builder. You will define how our ERP ecosystem—and its surrounding systems—scale with the business, while directly contributing to implementation.

You will not just advise on architecture—you will set direction, challenge constraints, and drive execution. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable defining multi-quarter architectural strategy (40% of the time)  and developing solutions (60% of the time) in complex, high-stakes systems.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Define and drive the end-to-end architecture of our NetSuite and financial system ecosystem
  • Establish a multi-quarter architectural vision that balances flexibility, scalability, and operational simplicity
  • Identify systemic risks and proactively evolve the platform to prevent future constraints—not just react to current needs
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to design solutions and deliver technical implementations that align with business objectives
  • Set the standard for clean architecture, maintainable automation, and scalable system design
  • Identify and aggressively reduce tech debt, redundant logic, and fragile implementations
  • Design and develop end-to-end NetSuite solutions using declarative configuration (SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, Custom Records, and Saved Searches) and programmatic development (SuiteScript, SuiteTalk APIs, and SuiteCloud Development Framework).
  • Lead and execute complex system redesigns (e.g., Zone Advanced Billing, advanced pricing/product modeling, OneWorld subsidiary structures, intercompany transactions, and replacing customizations with native functionality)
  • Design, implement, and support integrations between NetSuite (including OneWorld multi-subsidiary environments) and other enterprise applications, ensuring data consistency across entities, currencies, and geographies
  • Formalize the NetSuite release management and deployment processes, including Sandbox strategy, SuiteBundler/SDF deployments, and CI/CD pipelines to be executed by team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite issues, ensuring system stability, performance, and scalability across configurations and customizations

Your Expertise

  • 5–7+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and scaling NetSuite environments in complex or high-growth SaaS organizations
  • Strong hands-on expertise with SuiteScript (1.0/2.x), SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, integrations/APIs, and NetSuite data model
  • Hands-on experience with Zone Advanced Billing (ZAB), including usage-based billing, rating, invoicing workflows, and integration with revenue and financial processes
  • Nice to have: NetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, Administrator, SuiteCloud Developer, ERP Consultant)
  • Nice to have: Experience building and maintaining integrations using Boomi
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering scalable, multi-system architectures within the NetSuite ecosystem
  • Experience leading end-to-end system ownership, from architecture and implementation through optimization and support
  • Deep understanding of the order-to-cash / quote-to-cash process within NetSuite and connected systems, including pricing, billing, revenue recognition, and the contract lifecycle
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into pragmatic, scalable NetSuite solutions
  • Deep understanding of quote-to-cash and order-to-cash processes within NetSuite, including Zone Advanced Billing, complex pricing models, subscription billing, invoicing, and revenue workflows
  • Strong experience working in NetSuite OneWorld environments, including multi-subsidiary design, intercompany transactions, and global financial operations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across finance, operations, and technical teams
  • Champion the intentional integration of AI and automation capabilities (e.g., workflow automation, intelligent integrations) to drive operational efficiency and scalability
  • Demonstrated strong adherence to SDLC best practices, ensuring disciplined design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions with a focus on quality, scalability, and maintainability

You'll get competitive perks and benefits, from health & wellness to equity, to help you bring your best self to work.

For US based applicants:

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $210,000 annually + equity + benefits
