The Senior Oracle Architect will define technical architecture, lead design and implementation of solutions, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with standards.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Architect II to join our growing team. In this senior leadership role, you will play a crucial part in defining and evolving the technical architecture of our core products and platforms. You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security, while mentoring and guiding our solution, application, data architects as well as engineering tech leads.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior management to understand business goals and develop a technology strategy that supports them.
- Identify technology trends and assess their potential impact on the organization's business objectives.
- Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture roadmap that outlines the technology direction and guides future projects and initiatives.
- Lead the design and development of scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise solutions that align with the organization's architecture standards and principles.
- Work closely with software engineers, system administrators, and other technical teams to implement and deploy enterprise solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support during the development and implementation phases to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Define and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all technology solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improvement to ensure compliance with the established architecture principles.
- Evaluate the impact of proposed changes or additions to the architecture and make recommendations for their feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide architectural guidance.
- Mentor and guide development teams on architectural concepts, patterns, and best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on enterprise architecture to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in enterprise architecture.
- Conduct technology evaluations and provide recommendations on the adoption of new tools, frameworks, and platforms that can enhance the organization's technical capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 15+ years of progressive experience as an Enterprise or Solution Architect, with a track record of successfully delivering enterprise-wide solutions.
- Proven background as an Architect or a similar role.
- Strong technical background with expertise in multiple technology domains such as application development, infrastructure, data management, security, cloud computing, etc.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing complex enterprise solutions using modern technologies and frameworks.
- Proficiency in architectural modeling languages (e.g., UML, ArchiMate) and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe).
- Proficiency in tools like Lucidchart, Visio.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Specialization in various pillars such as HCM, ERP and Supply chain in Oracle Fusion and EBS application.
- Deep understanding of various modules within Oracle Fusion and EBS application.
- ERP (GL, SLA, AP, AR, FA, CM, Projects, etc.)
- Supply Chain (PO, PIM, INV, BOM, WIP, OM, WMS, OTM, etc.)
- HCM (Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, OLC, OTL, etc.)
- Experience in Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) across all pillars and other reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion and EBS architecture, data model, and security model.
- Experience in various versions of Oracle Databases and related tools.
- Experience in Oracle cloud infrastructure (OCI) and related tool sets such as Oracle Integration Cloud, IDCS, VBCS, etc.
- Proficiency in Oracle Fusion and EBS configuration, customization, and development using various tool sets.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex solutions on multiple platforms.
- Experience designing integrations using REST, SOAP and other APIs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Certifications in Oracle Fusion and EBS applications.
- Knowledge of OUM, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation for Oracle applications.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools.
- Additional experience in GCP or AWS a plus.
- Familiarity with other CRM platforms and technologies is desirable.
