About the role
We're looking for a sharp, data-driven, and creatively-minded Senior Paid Social Creative Strategist to join our team. This role is for a highly strategic individual with a deep understanding of the DTC landscape, who can translate consumer insights and performance data into high-converting ad creative. You will be at the forefront of our paid social efforts, shaping the creative strategy across key platforms to drive tangible business results.
The ideal candidate has their finger on the pulse of paid social trends and best practices. You'll have experience working with brands that don't have physical products (e.g., fintech, SaaS), and you'll be a master at creating compelling messages that speak directly to consumer pain points and value propositions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shape the roadmap and build a robust pipeline of performance creative for paid social advertising across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X
- Stay on top of trends and competitor strategies, identifying the next breakout format or platform to gain a competitive edge
- Conduct deep consumer research to understand audience pain points and motivations, translating those insights into powerful ad messaging and value propositions
- Review all creative assets (copy and design) for message clarity, strategic alignment, and adherence to direct response best practices
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to the creative team to ensure assets are optimized for performance on each platform
- Collaborate closely with media buying and growth teams to analyze ad performance data and identify opportunities for creative testing and iteration
- Be detail-oriented and capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5-10 years of experience as a Paid Social Creative Strategist or in a similar performance creative role, with a strong focus on direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands
- Proven experience working for brands with non-physical products, such as in the fintech space
- Deep knowledge of direct response (DR) best practices and a track record of creating high-performing ad creative
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a strategic approach to paid social advertising and a keen understanding of what drives conversions
- An innate curiosity for social media trends and a proactive approach to sourcing competitive inspiration
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate strategic rationale and provide constructive feedback to a creative team
- Proficiency in leveraging performance data to inform and optimize creative decisions

The US national base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000 - $203,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
