·       Review post payroll reports and assist with payroll reconciliation.

·       Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions in a timely manner.

·       Maintain accurate payroll documentation and records.

·       Partner with Finance and other internal stakeholders on payroll related matters as needed.

·       Support year end payroll activities and required reporting.

·       Help ensure payroll practices remain compliant with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.

Benefits Administration

·       Support the day to day administration of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and other company sponsored benefits.

·       Process benefit enrollments, changes, qualifying life events, and terminations accurately and timely.

·       Serve as a resource for employees regarding benefit eligibility, enrollment, coverage, and general benefit questions.

·       Partner with benefit brokers, carriers, and vendors to resolve enrollment and coverage issues.

·       Support annual Open Enrollment, including employee communications, system setup, enrollment activities, and post enrollment audits.

·       Review payroll deductions against benefit elections to help ensure accuracy.

·       Support benefit invoice reconciliation, eligibility audits, and other benefit related reporting.

People Operations

·       Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, employee changes, promotions, transfers, and offboarding.

·       Maintain accurate employee information and documentation within Rippling and other People systems.

·       Process employee changes and ensure information is accurately reflected across applicable HR, payroll, and benefit systems.

·       Prepare employment related documentation and employee correspondence.

·       Maintain confidential and organized employee records.

·       Respond to employee questions and provide timely, professional support.

·       Support HR reporting, workforce data, and regular employee data audits.

·       Assist with leave administration and employee documentation as needed.

·       Support compliance activities and required HR documentation.

Recruiting & Onboarding

·       Provide recruiting support as needed, including interview coordination, candidate communication, offer documentation, background checks, and pre employment activities.

·       Coordinate new hire onboarding and ensure employees are properly established within Rippling and other applicable systems.

·       Partner with hiring managers and internal teams to provide a smooth onboarding experience.

·       Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding communications as needed.

What We're Looking For

·       6+ years of progressive Human Resources, People Operations, payroll, benefits, or related experience.

·       3+ years hands on Rippling payroll processing experience is required.

·       Demonstrated experience independently preparing and processing payroll within Rippling.

·       Experience reviewing and auditing payroll prior to submission and resolving payroll discrepancies.

·       Hands on benefits administration experience.

·       Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems beyond basic employee self service functionality.

·       Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and HR administration.

·       Working knowledge of federal and state employment and payroll requirements.

·       Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

·       Ability to manage recurring deadlines, particularly payroll and benefit deadlines.

·       Strong organizational and problem solving skills.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.

·       Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues.

·       Ability to shift priorities and provide support across different areas of People & Culture when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience processing multi state or global payroll.

·       Experience supporting a remote or geographically dispersed workforce.

·       Experience administering benefits through Rippling.

·       Experience supporting Open Enrollment and annual benefit renewals.

·       Experience with payroll reconciliations, benefit invoice reconciliations, and HR data audits.

·       Experience using Rippling across multiple People functions including payroll, benefits, onboarding, offboarding, reporting, and employee management.

·       SHRM CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means payroll is accurate and on time, benefit transactions are handled correctly, employee data is reliable, and employees receive responsive and knowledgeable support.

You will be someone the People & Culture team can depend on to manage core operational responsibilities while also stepping in to support broader HR priorities when needed.
