 What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Principal Systems Development Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the architecture, design and implementation of highly complex, AI rack scale servers, ensuring they meet scalability, reliability and performance requirements.  This role involves mentoring cross-functional engineering teams and driving strategic technical decisions and innovation that shape Dell’s long-term technology roadmap.

You will:

  • Be a Technical leader driving continuous development and enhancements on Server AI Hardware platforms
  • Works with other engineering development and validation functions to debug critical design issues
  • Lead development and systems engineering when working tactical/time-to-market development issues
  • Identify and develop differentiation opportunities, provide technical information and make recommendations to marketing, procurement, engineering, customers, and business executive

Essential Requirements

  • 12+ years of hardware and system engineering experience 
  • X86/ARM architecture based design and system level debug
  • High speed PCB design; creating Specifications / design guides
  • Familiarity with Hardware-Software interaction and familiarity with DDR, PCIe, UPI, SAS/SATA protocols
  • Familiarity with CPLD or FPGA design and debug

Desirable Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering
  • Experience working with GPU HW and SW subsystems

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $182,750- $236,500.
