Ecosystem Solution Architects partner with strategic customers, marketplace vendors, global system integrators (GSIs), and internal teams to deliver technical solutions, support cloud migrations, and scale adoption of Atlassian's cloud platform and APIs.

For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $284,400 - $371,000
Zone B: $256,500 - $334,875
Zone C: $235,800 - $307,850
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Ecosystem Solution Architects partner with strategic customers, marketplace vendors, global system integrators (GSIs), and internal teams to deliver technical solutions, support cloud migrations, and scale adoption of Atlassian's cloud platform and APIs.
What You'll Do
- Lead hands-on technical engagements with enterprise customers, marketplace partners, GSIs, and solution partners to accelerate adoption of Forge and Atlassian product APIs.
- Architect and prototype advanced solutions, reference architectures, and reusable enablement content for both internal and external audiences.
- Provide deep technical guidance on Forge, Atlassian APIs, and cloud extensibility, including migrations, AI integrations, and complex partner use cases.
- Influence Atlassian's platform strategy by representing the voice of customers and partners, identifying gaps, and advocating for enhancements to Forge and product APIs.
- Support field and customer success teams with technical enablement, unblock data center to cloud migrations, and drive seat expansion through solution innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships) to deliver impactful solutions and drive ecosystem growth.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Stay at the forefront of AI, cloud, and SaaS trends, piloting new approaches and scaling successful patterns across the global field organization.
Key Focus Areas
- Engaging with VIP enterprise customers and partners to migrate complex customer workloads to Cloud and expand existing cloud customers to new use-cases through Forge enablement.
- Partnering with GSIs and strategic partners on development of novel solutions using the Forge platform.
- Driving technical architecture and partner engagement motions for strategic SaaS partnerships and new partner recruitment.
- Delivering solution architectures and reusable content to scale ecosystem enablement.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, solution architecture, or technical consulting, with a focus on SaaS platforms and APIs.
- Deep expertise in Atlassian Forge, Atlassian product APIs, and cloud extensibility patterns.
- Proven track record of architecting and delivering complex technical solutions for enterprise customers and partners.
- Experience with customer migrations, cloud adoption, and technical enablement at scale.
- Strong programming skills (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python) and experience with API integration and cloud services.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product direction and advocate for customer/partner needs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Experience mentoring and developing technical talent.
Bonus Points
- Experience with AI/ML integrations, prompt engineering, or building intelligent agents on SaaS platforms.
- Prior experience working with Atlassian marketplace partners, GSIs, or large-scale partner ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Atlassian's migration utilities, hybrid SaaS/on-prem deployment models, and security considerations.
- Consulting experience with Fortune 500 enterprise customers.
