The Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) will own the end-to-end user interface design for a health-related digital experience. Responsibilities include creating user flows, design systems, and ensuring brand consistency, all while working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Summary
  • Position: Full-time Senior Product Designer (UI/UX)

  • Location: You must live in the U.S. permanently

  • Salary: $120k - $200k

  • Equity: 0.05% - 0.25%

  • Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision

  • PTO: Flexible

Our Mission: Make optimal health humanity's new baseline.

This job is right for you if you:
  • Live and work in the U.S. and communicate clearly in English.

  • Can do this job without the support of AI.

    • To be clear, we are not looking for a prompt expert, we are looking for a designer.

  • Have a portfolio of work that you can share and describe in detail.

  • You can own and evolve the full dashboard experience across web and mobile.

  • Understand health and wellness culture intuitively, and would find it easy to draw inspiration as you are genuinely interested in the space.

  • Move fast, give clear feedback, and can ship high-quality work without getting stuck in perfectionist wormholes.

  • Are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup where procedures are not clearly defined (you own the creation of design procedures from scratch and iterate rapidly).

  • Are obsessed with learning and design is also a hobby for you, not just a job.

  • Are fluent in Figma.

  • Do the design yourself and don’t outsource to someone on Upwork, etc.

Bonus: You are extremely fluent with Framer.

What you'll do:
  • Own the end-to-end user interface design across Rythm’s core digital experiences: website, web dashboard, and mobile app.

  • Build intuitive, frictionless user flows that make health data feel simple, empowering, and beautiful.

  • Create scalable design systems, component libraries, and interaction patterns that evolve with the product.

  • Partner directly with product, engineering, and brand to ensure visual and functional consistency across all touchpoints.

  • Conduct quick usability reviews and iterate based on data and feedback.

  • Ensure every pixel, transition, and layout feels on-brand, modern, and human.

Hiring process:
  1. 30-minute intro call with Kelsie (Co-Founder & Lead Designer); chat about Rythm, the role, and your goals.

  2. 2-hour take-home project, i.e. design an interactive UI concept.

  3. 30-minute call to meet Robby (Co-Founder & CEO).

  4. Reference checks.

Note: AI resumes will not be accepted.
