About Wander

Wander is transforming how people explore the world through smart, AI-powered consumer products and real-world travel experiences. We're building the next generation of travel—tools that anticipate traveler needs, empower discovery, and redefine what it means to wander. Join us at the frontier of travel tech, where creativity meets craft and AI shapes the journey.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer at Wander, you’ll shape the look, feel, and flow of our consumer products—turning ideas into elegant, intuitive, and high-impact experiences. You’ll work from the earliest concept through to final pixel-perfect execution, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to make our AI-powered travel experiences not just functional, but delightful.

We’re looking for a designer who thrives at the intersection of craft and product thinking—someone who can translate complex ideas into interfaces that feel delightful and usable for millions of travelers.

What you’ll do
  • Design product concepts that balance vision, craft, speed, and business impact.

  • Own features end-to-end—from early sketches and prototypes to production-ready designs.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to bring your vision to life with polish and precision.

  • Use customer insights and product data to guide priorities, improve usability, and refine interactions.

  • Contribute to and evolve Wander’s design system, ensuring visual and functional consistency across platforms.

  • Explore new patterns and interaction models for AI-driven travel experiences.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure our story is consistently told across every user touchpoint.

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience (5+ years) designing for consumer-facing web or mobile products, ideally in fast-paced environments.

  • Strong product sense, you understand user needs, can simplify complex problems, and design intuitive mental models and flows.

  • Pixel-perfect execution with mastery of Figma and a keen eye for typography, layout, and motion.

  • Collaboration mindset, you thrive working cross-functionally and are receptive to feedback.

  • Versatility, you can shift from high-level product thinking to fine-grained UI details without losing momentum.

  • Balance of craft and pragmatism, you know when to perfect, when to iterate, and when to ship.

  • Clear communication skills, you can tell stories with visuals and words to align teams.

Bonus Points
  • Experience with AI-powered products or complex consumer applications.

  • You’ve designed for travel, hospitality, marketplaces, or other high-frequency consumer experiences.

  • Familiarity with motion design tools (e.g., Principle, After Effects, Lottie).

  • Ability to code prototypes in HTML/CSS/JS (or React) for more interactive exploration.

  • Familiarity with AI tools for prototyping like v0, Cursor, etc.

Why Wander?
  • Shape elegant AI-powered experiences in a company revolutionizing travel.

  • Join a mission-driven team dedicated to raising hospitality standards through technology.

  • Work remotely with real autonomy and creative ownership.

  • Be part of a fast-growing, venture-backed startup with industry-leading guest satisfaction.

Join Us

If you’re passionate about designing world-class travel products, obsessed with craft, and excited about defining the future of AI-powered travel, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and help shape how millions of future wanderers experience the world.
