What you will do

  • You’ll design simple, high quality products that solve complex problems for our customers
    • Partner closely with Product Managers to understand requirements and use cases and design solutions that meet those needs
    • Create multiple design options, iterate on feedback, and ensure we are shipping a high quality solution
    • Partner with Engineering throughout delivery to manage cost/benefit tradeoffs of different design options
    • Create organized and detailed design requirements in Figma (or other tools) to foster clarity and seamless collaboration
    • Seek out end user feedback to evaluate the usability of your designs and follow up on feedback after the product is released
  • You’ll lay the foundation for design at Snappt
    • Prioritize design work effectively across multiple stakeholders
    • Set our design standards and best practices - style guides, design systems, etc.
    • Ensure we take a user-centric design approach
    • Champion the use of AI tooling for prototyping and more efficiently designing across the organization

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience designing UX and UI for software products
  • Track record of designing simple solutions to complex user problems that drove business impact and customer value
  • Experience handling complex projects and prioritizing work across multiple stakeholders
  • You know what makes a well designed product and are well-versed in industry best practices
  • You collaborate well with engineers, bringing detailed design requirements and an ability to understand the technical tradeoffs
  • You are an expert on users’ needs and know how to perform good research
  • You’ve perfected your UX and UI craft, designing intuitive solutions that fit into users’ workflows that are visually appealing and delightful
  • You’re a great storyteller, you communicate clearly and succinctly with the right context and level of detail, painting a picture of how your design solves the customer problem
  • You are opinionated but adaptable and can be influenced and flexible as information changes
  • You are humble and approach design challenges with curiosity, acknowledging the expertise of others and continuously seeking improvement
  • You are an expert with design AI tooling and champion the use of AI prototyping and design systems to scale design impact

Snappt is a remote-first organization. 

We actually don’t even have an office. So if you’re accountable and do high-quality work...do it from anywhere. You can also expect to see your teammates throughout the year IRL, at company-supported retreats and events.

Annual Salary: $155,000 - $185,000
