About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product management efforts for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Hybrid support and migration tools as part of Nerdio Manager for Enterprise. This individual contributor role, reporting into the Sr. Director, Enterprise Product, will be pivotal in shaping Nerdio’s strategy for accelerating customer migrations from legacy VDI platforms. 


What you'll do

  • Lead AVD Hybrid Strategy: Spearhead product management efforts for AVD Hybrid support, defining the roadmap for extending Azure Virtual Desktop capabilities to on-premises environments such as Nutanix AHVVMware vSphere, and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Drive Migration Tooling: Shape the product strategy for accelerating customer migrations from legacy VDI platforms to AVD conversions.
  • Define Technical Specs: Author comprehensive product specifications (PRDs), ensuring engineering and design teams have clear requirements. 
  • Strategic Partnership Execution: Collaborate with the leadership team to execute on technical deliverables for key alliance partnerships, ensuring joint roadmap items are delivered on schedule. 
  • Customer & Market Engagement: Engage with enterprise customers and channel partners to validate AVD Hybrid usage scenarios and migration friction points, using feedback to refine the product backlog. 
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Drive alignment across engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure successful go-to-market of new capabilities. 

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to translate technical requirements into clear product specifications with a detail-oriented mindset. 
  • Strong understanding of DaaS/VDI and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) technologies. 
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical details and executive-level strategy. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify customer needs and provided tailored solutions. 
  • Demonstrated success in an individual contributor role while influencing cross-functional teams. 

Required Experience 

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or equivalent experience, preferably in end-user computing (EUC) solutions such as Desktop as a Service (DaaS) or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). 
  • Strong familiarity with Nutanix AOS/AHV, VMware vSphere/ESXi, and/or Microsoft Hyper-V/SCVMM is strongly preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of Agile product management methodology, techniques, and strategies. 
  • Strong proficiency using development lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.
