Senior Product Manager - BFSI

Iron Mountain is a leading provider of innovative digital solutions in the Banking and Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) industry. The ideal candidate for this role should be a detail-oriented self-starter responsible for leading the product development process from ideation through to delivery. In this role, you will lead the strategy, commercialization and build of a SaaS solution targeted at Insurance companies. In addition to product strategy, you will define the product objective, features and roadmap. You will organize the product backlog, write requirements, perform acceptance tests, create digital content and design marketing and enablement collateral. This role must communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organization, obtain current and accurate business requirements, define and control scope of the product. This includes writing, editing, maintaining and tagging epics, stories and other digital content.


Key Responsibilities

● Lead the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring successful delivery of new features and enhancements.
● Strong background developing in SaaS (Software as a Service) products for B2B enterprise-level customers, with a deep understanding of SaaS business models and best practices.
● Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings

● Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior leadership, engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define the product roadmap and prioritize initiatives based on business impact and customer feedback.
● Define and communicate clear product requirements, user stories, and product specifications for the development team.
● Own product performance and continuously assess product performance metrics to optimize for business outcomes.
● Manage and mitigate risks by proactively identifying potential issues and addressing them with solutions.
● Lead product experiments, A/B tests, and other strategies to gather insights and inform product decisions.
● Support the design of the user interface and experience, leaning on an understanding of the user, industry best practices and competitive research
● Develop partnerships with Hyperscalers, System Integrators and Independent Software vendors to expand market reach and product capabilities.


What you need to succeed in this role:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
● 5+ years of experience in product development for the insurance sectors.

● Proven track record of successfully bringing innovative 0 to 1 products to market and driving revenue growth
● Strong understanding of product development processes, from ideation to launch.
● Experience with intelligent document processing technologies and business orchestration and automation solutions, such as Workflow, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), IDP (Intelligent Document Processing), RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and AI (Artificial Intelligence) driven document analysis and agents.
● Ability to work independently, within a cross-functional team and lead when necessary
● Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills.
● Attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality work product.

Travel:

The role requires up to 25% travel within the United States based on client and business needs.

Reasonably expected salary range: $123,500.00 - $164,700.00
