This role requires a deep understanding of recurring revenue models (SaaS, subscriptions), sophisticated billing processes, revenue recognition compliance and a keen ability to translate complex financial and sales workflows into intuitive, scalable software solutions that sharpen our competitive edge and maintain market leadership.

What You'd Do

  • Define Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and articulate a compelling, actionable product vision and strategy for Zone&Co's Billing offerings, ensuring alignment with Zone&Co's overall product vision and maintaining our market leadership position.
  • Market & Competitive Edge: Conduct in-depth market research and aggressive competitive analysis (e.g., Zuora, Chargebee, Maxio) to identify unmet customer needs, emerging trends, and strategic opportunities. Specifically focus on defining differentiated features and capabilities that sharpen our competitive advantage and keep us ahead of the market.
  • Roadmap & Prioritization: Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the Billing and Revenue domain, defining clear objectives, key results (OKRs), and prioritized initiatives. Translate strategic themes into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with an emphasis on maximum market impact.
  • Product Development Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering, UX  and QA teams throughout the agile development lifecycle. Provide clear guidance, make informed trade-offs, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of features that exceed customer expectations.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with sales, marketing, solutions consulting, and customer success teams to develop compelling product messaging, sales enablement materials, and launch strategies that drive rapid adoption, highlight competitive differentiation, and maximize customer value.
  • Domain Expertise & Innovation: Drive innovation in core areas such as subscription management, usage-based billing, complex pricing models, automated revenue recognition (ASC 606), contract management, and integrated renewal/upsell workflows.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the subject matter expert for Billing and Revenue, communicating product plans, progress, and performance to internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners.

What You'll Need

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Product Management within FinTech, Enterprise SaaS, or a related domain, with a direct focus on Billing, Subscription Management, or Revenue Recognition solutions.
  • Deep Domain Expertise: In-depth understanding of subscription and recurring revenue models, complex B2B billing workflows, revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606), and the associated financial processes.
  • ERP Acumen: Strong understanding of ERP systems and financial processes. Direct experience with NetSuite (either as a user, consultant, or product manager for a NetSuite-integrated solution) is a significant advantage.
  • Strategic & Commercial Mindset: Proven ability to analyze complex market data, competitive landscapes, and customer insights to define winning, differentiated product strategies and prioritize effectively for competitive impact.
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineers, understand API capabilities, and grasp the nuances of building scalable, secure financial software.
  • Execution Focus: A strong track record of successfully bringing complex software products from conception to launch and driving market adoption.
  • Outstanding Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences (technical, business, executive).
